The magic thing is getting charged once they charged you they basically have "assigned" you a phone thats going to ship out is my thoughts.

This should be a forum that helps share info, updates and stories about preorders. Helping fellow iPhone and Apple lovers out.

It shouldn't be about judging other's situations when we're all here for the same common goal: getting the iPhone 7/7+ we preordered. Whiny? So what? Some of you are over compensating by trying to take it out in a mean way on other participants.

I wish you all nothing but the best in getting your phones and every happiness when you do!
 
Do you people understand that a phone has to first be assigned, then charged and label created. Duh. It is very possibly true. Everyone here is seriously annoying now and being negative trolls. This thread was way better before all of you latecomers.
I'm a late comer and did read since like the 10 page. But it's easy to point out the trolls and to know which ones aren't.

Yea I basically feel like I got the best possible outcomes. I ordered my phone in store around 10am launch day when I strolled into T-Mobile, purchased the IP7+ gold because it shipped the soonest. I got a ESD of 9/26-10/10 and was charged yesterday morning. Patiance was a major key (DJ Khaled Voice) lmao.

It is related to me. I woke up at 2:30am eastern to be ready to call in. Only to have hour long holds and call drops followed by system crashes on their end. When order finally goes through im given 9/27-10/10 date. So yes, people who ordered 5 days later bitching and moaning to get on a priority list or crying that they haven't got theirs get no sympathy from me.

I am in the same boat as you, only I was told my order was complete, only to find out later it was set aside and not processed until 7 am EST.

"Ok, I did look at it and also spoke with someone higher then me, because you deserve it! All is not lost. Your order is on Partially Back Ordered so that means your date can change. I am not able to move you closer due to Apple are sending these phones out as fast as they can. I know this mistake was not your fault I wish we had that pull to put you ahead of other customers, but we do not. I am so sorry I know this is not what you want to hear."...
I asked what "partially backordered means and she said the following
"That means you can get pushed up. It can change to a closer date for you. Mine is in the same status, so we both are hoping for that text message that say your date has been changed... : ) Make sure you keep checking the status."
I asked the same question the other day and gotten a different answer

Mine was not processed till 8am eastern and that's only because I was suppose to receive a call back and never did. Had to write to tmobile on twitter and get someone from their support team to follow up and complete my order.

I received a call at 3:01am from the rep, went through all the steps and around 3:30am my call was cut, never received a phone call back as a courtesy and it was back to the end of the line. I contacted Tmobile support, elevated it to the next level and there is my story. Never asked for sympathy, just feedback and info from others in similar situations.

This is the first year that I haven't gotten my phone within a week of launch so I'm just taking in all the info I see here in these forums

I'm calling bs on the poster who got that unless there is an imei. There's no way to see it assigned unless there's an IMEI

My situation was a bit different. I woke up at 3:00AM EST to preorder. Website was useless, phone hold time was ridiculous. Kept trying for an hour, then went back to sleep. Woke up at 6AM, and after trying for 30 mins, I was able to push two orders at 6:30AM EST. However, after reviewing my order, I realized that one was wrong. Contacted T-mobile at 8:00AM EST and they cheerfully told me that BOTH of my orders were canceled. Reason: I did not sign EIP (BS), but then i figured out that it was because I ordered using my iPhone.

So, while having the rep on the phone, i placed 1 order at 8:30AM EST (mine). Then placed another at around 9:00AM EST (already delivered regular 32gb iPhone 7 Gold)

Yeah, I hung up the phone at 3:16 AM EST thinking mine was complete. I laughed to myself and said, "That was easy". The rep told me that my EIP would come later but don't worry I had gotten in in time to get it on launch day. EIP came at 7:22 AM EST and I had it signed by 7:23 AM EST. Still sitting here in 9/27-10/10 with zero changes. I guess that's just how it goes sometimes!

Context: 128 Gb black 7+. JOD Order placed by exec response team on 9/9 4:30pm-ish (after 16 hours of trying online, phone, t-force, and in store). EIP signed 9/10 (after the system blocked it for a day). Given 9/27-10/10 window. Billed this morning. Now this.

After I had no luck continuing on the phone on 9/9 with my preorder as the hold times were crazy, I contacted support through the app, Twitter and even looked through reddit.

Someone suggested I email Mr. Legere, which I did, and someone from his office contacted me on 9/14 and helped me preorder my phone

Wow i ordered the same phone at 9:00 AM EST on 9/9....and there are people who ordered before me.......but u got lucky
