I read this though in the EIP so it doesn't make sense we should still be able to cancel.

You have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days (or more based upon where you made the purchase) of your acceptance and return the equipment in accordance with our return policy. If you exercise this right you will have no payment obligation under this agreement. Your equipment may not work with wireless services or on wireless networks that are not provided by T- Mobile.
You can still cancel. As long as it hasn't shipped you can. I've done it before. I pre ordered iPhone 6 and it was backordered so it didn't ship on release, so i tried to my luck at my local T Mobile store and found the one I was looking for, I called and cancelled my order and EIP for the pre ordered one without a problem.

Ordered my jet black iPhone 7. at 10:05 this morning. Does the order go through as soon as I sign the email? I didn't do that till about an hour ago. :/

When did tracking numbers etc go out about this time last year? Can't remember.

I remember Tmo being real slow with this information. I believe that the phone arrived before tracking numbers even went out. It was very weird, like their info delivery system was way behind. I knew I was getting it because I was signed up for UPS MyChoice and that gave me an alert.

I seem to remember checking the order status page and nothing would be updated but UPS told me my tracking number. It wasn't until either the day of or shortly after I received my phone that Tmo's site posted the tracking info.

I'm been trying to work the economics of the deal. (I got 128GB) and how the tradein works, I still don't 100% trust what the agents are telling me they dont seem to know but I think this is how the credits etc will work

Mainly I'm trying to work out my cost 12 months in, if I have to own the phone outright to do another deal

The problem may come in with the JOD phone return. What held up my order this morning when the system crashed was not the actual order (which the rep Jason was able to cancel) but the RMA for the return of the S7 on my account. It just stayed there until it decided to drop off (about 11am EST). I would love to just cancel this EIP and try to go instore & pick it up, but I don't know how much of a hassle with an existing order & JOD it will be (not to mention I have to work next Friday so I can't go into the store). When I preordered last year for the 6s+ I didn't have any issues... Hope there is actually the supply for all of us.

Still trying to figure things out.

This is the third order I made since I was told the first two orders did not go through. This is the first time I received an order number but did not get an order confirmation email.

It says that my EIP agreement has been signed for the correct device. Now it also shows that the jump offer has been accepted.

Any ideas?

I second this ^ above. I never got a tracking number or even an update showing it shipped from T Mobile, but phone arrived on release date. I found out a label was created with UPS my choice. I got tracking info from T Mobile later on the same day it was delivered.

Just cancelled via the online chat. They are probably surprised I wanted to cancel based on the madness of everyone ordering lol.

You know, now that you mention it, I seem to recall this happening as well with the 6s...it was like on T-Mobile's site it was forever processing, but MyChoice was the only viable source of info. However on My Order page, it shows shipping via USPS Priority?

Can someone summarize how to pre-order the iPhone 7 for free and trade in your old iPhone 6/6s? I've hit upgrade, added it to my car but see no trade in option or anything. Can it not be done online?

I went to my local t-mobile store and pre ordered a black 128gb. Returning Note 7. The rep said it would be shipped next week but the paperwork says 9-28 to 10/10. So who knows? I also havent received any emails saying I ordered the new phone.

Just got off the phone with someone from art lucero's team, apparently there is an issue with the return shipping of my old phone back to t-mobile that's forcing my order to fail. They are now manually ordering my phone and I now have to ship my phone directly to the customer service reps office instead of dropping off the phone to t-mobile?? Apparently it's a known issue?? Funny not one rep over the phone or in store seemed aware of this! Now just waiting for a call back with confirmation #

Yeah mine says the same thing as well, shipping with USPS Priority. I checked my last order from the iPhone 6s last year on the same order page, and that one also shows USPS Priority, even though it was delivered UPS. I think it's just the way the system puts it there.

As painful as it's going to sound and be, I'd just call in and have it done manually by a rep. It's gonna suck and you might be on the phone for a while, but it's the best option.

I don't care which service is being used. I get alerts for UPS, FedEx and USPS. I'll know when something is on its way to me but chances are, it'll be UPS like it's always been in the past.

Just ordered mine, actually ordered 1 for me and 1 for my wife. Pretty easy process, had to wait an hour for a call back but then it went very smoothly. It was $250 for each, 128 Gb 7+ models and trading in 6+ for both. Hopefully the trade in goes as well, that's the pat that I'm most concerned about.
As far as time goes, the rep said not to expect delivery until mid November, she then gave me a shipping estimate for between sept 23 and oct 10, so not really sure when I'll actually get the phones.

I ordered my iPhone 7 plus 256GB Jet Black got in the system early at 0258 EST order is being processed delivery date of 9/19 t0 9/26 Orders are first come first served so I hope being in the system early I get mine in good time. Almost forgot through T-Mobile

With my 6S order, I was told that I'd have to mail back my 6 once I received my 6S. When I got my 6S, there was no return envelope/box/pigeon included. I was then told that I'd have to go to the store. When I went to the store, they told me I had to ship it back but were "generous" enough to give me a prepaid shipping label.

It's always rocky with preorders, returning phones, upgrades, order updates, shipping updates, etc. I guess one day we'll all get used to the madness and these threads won't go for thousands of pages. Just look at last year's pre-order thread. LOL

Then the fun will really begin with plane watching, lol.

Ah yes! the infamous "my phone is on this plane" and "how did you find out what plane?" and "use your phone number in the reference box" and all sorts of "hacks" to find out where your phone is. It might be one of the silliest thing I do as an adult, but it's a lot of fun every year to come here, read the posts and try some of the stuff that people say works.

Got in right at 1201, ordered a jet black 7 plus for me, and a jet black 7 for my wife. docs emailed and signed by 1230, and the orders show on my tmobile as shipping the 9/19-9/26. Hopefully Ill get them before then, but oh well. Glad I was able to get thru the order stuff without the hassle some of yall had.

Ordered the iPhone 7 plus 32gb in matte black, estimated to ship 9/27-10/10 :/

Are all people getting that ship date for that model by default and is it likely to be sooner or maybe even arrive on launch day?

It doesn't make sense to me. If the systems were down most of the night, how were so many people able o place orders that the these models are backordered? I called at 2:59 EST (11:57 PDT) and the guy told me that the JOD system was down and that a supervisor would call me back in 15. That call never came. each time I called after that they told me systems were down. Then finally at 6:20 am EST (3:20 PDT) I called and they were able to place the order. My lease email came like 2 minutes later and i signed it. Not fair that i lost my initial place in line but I guess life isn't always fair. Just wish tmobile could've learned from their mistakes last year and beefed up their servers

I totally get where you're coming from. Confusion, however, lies in the method of getting those credits. T-Mobile should have explained exactly how the credits would apply once they receive the trade-in phone. Instead, they just say they'll credit it back and it'll end up being free in the end.

Going through the trade-in process isn't as simple as that. There's no mention of the iphone deal when you start the trade-in process. And people, like me, just get a message saying that it's only worth X amount of dollars. I would rather them explicitly say that we'll get whatever trade-in amount they quote us online, in addition to X amount of dollars to offset whatever is left instead of having everyone scramble for an answer and worry that they're not doing it properly.

Very well said.
That's why I was afraid to order online cause I thought I was doing it wrong.
It didn't say anywhere to trade in your old i6 or 6S go to this link and do it together as one simple process.
Nothing was simple. :)
