Went to mytmobileaccount before 12AM and waited until exactly 12AM and hit the upgrade button. I selected the 256 GB Jet Black 7, signed the EI,P payed the down payment and got the EIP email at 12:04AM. Went to bed and woke up to see order confirmation email received at 12:49AM and got a text at 8:59AM. Shipping is quoted as 9/19 to 9/26. Overall smooth experience and didn't experience any difficulties.

I did check on Apple store before going to bed and it showed 2-3 week delivery for the same phone so this seems consistent. I am not expecting my phone on 9/16. The Silver 256 GB 7 showed 6-8 business day shipping when I checked.

I don't really have a preference of colors but thought that a well taken care of Jet Black phone will sell for a little more when I upgrade again.

I got shipping dates between 09/19/2016 - 09/26/2016
[doublepost=1473456897][/doublepost]

Nope just that Estimated to Ship 09/19/2016 - 09/26/2016. thats it.

Where did you get that estimate from? The only estimate on time I got was when I was hitting submit last night. The only thing in my email is an equipment agreement with very very little details..

I don't get it, I ordered at 12:03am (Jet Black 7 Plus 128GB) and i'm getting a "09/27/2016 to 10/24/2016" ship date. Should I call them or something? Clearly, I pre-ordered early.

nothing they can do. your dates are your dates. they won't change them.

i got that in a text message from TMO and on the order confirmation

No, It was ordered via T-Force over the phone. I never got the email to sign

you should call them back with the order number. if you don't get an email for EIP signature you won't get your phone.

Yep... I'm chatting with T-Force right now, so we'll see what happens. Supposed to have a supervisor calling me soon too...

In four places:

1) Final order confirmation screen when you place your order.
2) Email copy of your order (not the EIP email)
3) In the text message confirming your order
4) Order history in mytmobileaccount

They should all have the same date range. Only thing different that I can see is one say overnight shipping other screens say USPS.

Also, you may have missed the message on the (1), but it does say that an email copy and online receipt can take up to 48 hours to generate.

In my Tmobile account, Why does my iPhone 7 plus show under completed leases? (this is where my trade-ins show):

Completed Leases

Paul, $31.00 $558.00

The ONLY thing I have received is an EIP email. Is getting an EIP email a good thing?

I can't do any type of "logging in" on T Mobile. No account exists. No text message.

Definitely a good sign. I would give it another business day before you get the order confirmation email. When I first switched to T-Mobile I got the EIP first, then next day got the email receipt of the equipment purchase. At that point I could register online for my account .

Pretty much similar to buying a car - you will sign the financing agreement first, then the last thing you get is the actual receipt with the keys.

I just found out after initiating chat with TMo (through the app) that the rep from last night did not set me up for EIP, which is required to get the full $649 credit amount for the trade in promo. My order had to be cancelled and re-submitted. Ugh! Good thing is shipping time for iPhone 7 256gb black is still shipping the 15th/16th. Since I got someone who speaks English as a first language this time, it went much more smoothly. I also got some better detail about the trade-in promo... hope you guys find it useful.

Here is how the iPhone 6/6S trade-in promo for the iPhone 7/7Plus works
:
  1. The promo credit requires EIP and you cannot pay full retail and only receive statement credits, which I would have preferred.
  2. There are two components to the credit for trade in promo: (a) value of phone; and (b) the amount to make the full credit $649.99, which is a plug. For me, phone value assigned is $165, so the plug is $484.99
  3. The value of your iPhone trade in is given as a full credit when your trade in is processed. For me, the iPhone 6 64gb had a value of $165 which will be given as a lump sum.
  4. Immediate payment when iPhone is shipped: Obviously, you pay the cost of whichever iPhone you choose that is over $649.99 plus tax, plus sales tax if applicable. Also, a $20 "upgrade fee" if you do this on the phone like I did. For me, I paid $219.99 ($200 premium for the 256gb 7, plus $20; no sales tax for shipping to Oregon).
  5. $649.99 is charged to your TMobile bill over 24 monthly installments (approx $27.08/month).
  6. The amount in 1(b) above is provided as a credit amortized over 24 months (approx $20.20).
  7. Your net credits over the entire 24 months is $649.99 (1a plus 1b above), which cancels out the $649.99 charged to you in 5 above.
  8. Installments are financed in-house by TMobile, and do not go through a bank like the Apple upgrade plan.

walked into my local t-mobile store today at 11am - traded in my iPhone 6 - 64 GB, and preordered a 128 gb matte black iPhone 7
Shipping by 9/15-9/16

no line, no nothing, quite straightforward.
trade in process/evaluation was quick as well

Now for the monthly EIP, with the trade-in deal, I'm not paying monthly for it correct? thats what the reps told me, that as long as I remain with them for 24 months, they take care of the monthly EIP

Yes, thats the way I understand the promo/deal. The trade in credit, paid over 24 months, offsets your monthly EIP payment.

When you handed in your old phone, how was the evaluation? Was it based on the "JUMP 3-point inspection"?

if enrolled in JUMP!, you must trade in the same phone or tablet that you financed through EIP, and it must pass a three-point inspection: 1) powers on, 2) no cracked screen, and 3) no water damage.

Awesome! I'll give it till Monday! (next business day)

Having a horrible time preordering with T-Mobile. I have JUMP! On Demand so I can't upgrade online; have to call or go into the store. Called at 12:01 AM and immediately got someone but took over an hour to order two iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Blacks. Said I would get confirmation email and e signature email within two hours. Waited until noon today and still didn't get anything. So I called them and they said that something happened with the preorder and it didn't go through. REALLY?? Nice of them to let me know. So I just went into the store to try and it still isn't working. They did a "manual sales receipt" and said they are going to try and do it when the system is working again. So now it's 15 hours into the preorder and I STILL don't have anything preordered yet.

TMobile and their iPhone pre-ordering system is designed and managed by tech wannabees!

Their whole system is a JOKE, and I'm being nice!
