this is killing meeee. I'm a longtime Android user trying iPhone for the first time. lol T-Mobile is not helping this transition one bit. does this happen every yr with iPhone preorders?
I got the shaft yesterday... I saw a report stating T-Mobile's trade in offer for iPhone 6 / 6s will end this Sunday 9/25/16. So I was just double checking because I had a weird feeling I wasnt setup to receive this offer. First give away was that when I tried to track my order online it didnt have any information or wouldnt populate. Second was I still technically had the Note 7 when I preordered the iPhone 7+. So they automatically assumed I would be returning the Note 7 and upgrading to the iPhone 7+. Which is true but I had an iPhone 6+ that is unlocked / out of contract. So since I didnt specify online I wasnt setup for the offer. So long story short, I had to cancel my preorder for my iPhone 7+ 256GB Matte Black that I preordered on 9/9/16 and had a ship date range of 9/19/16 - 9/26/16 3 days away from my ship date 
What the ****. I did everything I could to get them to fix this without cancelling but no luck. The stinking LIVE CHAT person was wrong they didnt look into my account enough to see what was going on and I had a gut feeling things werent the way they should have been and I should have done this 10 days ago. When I first chatted with support.
See ya guys next year because I wont get my phone till 10/18/16 - 11/1/16.

Over the past couple days, it seems like 3pm EST is when charges start rolling around. Let's see what happens today! Hoping for my RG!
T-Mobile doesn't like us. They are going to get all the jet black phones shipped out before they ship our stupid matte black phones.

They move, but not deliver except for overnight by 10:30am, I believe. T-mobile sends overnight saver.
Can you tell me how it went?! Last year I was able to upgrade through my carrier but now according to online reservation it's different this year
The stupid "if you call in to order you get a $20 charge" thing. It'll be removed whenever I get the phone, already spoken to support about it
I'd hope they ship various models as their available, rather than holding devices that are ready waiting on ones that aren't for "fairness based on order number".
Looks like it was ordered over the phone or in person. They charge a $20 fee which can get credited back to your account if you ask.
This is why I am doing the trade in deal. Effectively, with the trade in, I get a free $650 phone...and $650 is far more than I would get if I sold it on swappa. The only stipulation is I have to stay with t-mobile for 24 months...no worries there. As annoyed as I am with the pre-orders, I would never go back to legacy carriers.
Yea but it already shows that charge as a line item in your total under "upgrade support charge." Like I said, I would check with them...

I walked in and bought a 128 7+ Matte Black on Sprint outright and have been happily using this for over 24 hours now. Just popped out the Sprint SIM before I turned it on. Popped in my T Mobile SIM, and in 3 mins was back on network...EMEI even showed in my account.
I'd cancel my order with TMO, but let them waste their money shipping it in December or whenever the F a phone ordered 2 mins into an onsale gets here
Anyone with 7+ MB 32gb and estimated delivery of 11/1-11/31 get there's shipped? Between here and /r/tmobile, I've seen people with 11/1-11/31 getting their 7+ MB 128gb today
I believe it does. The last time I was active here for an iPhone release was for the 6 +. It brings back all the wonderful memories. I had ordered a 128 SG 6+ that saw no movement for 2 months. I finally tracked down a Verizon one at a Apple store.
yes ive been having an iphone for 4 years now last three years were the same as today! backordered!
that is horrible. next go round I'll be better prepared. ill be ordering from Apple directly.
