Just got tracking info on my 7, Gold, 128gb.
Still waiting on my 7+ to be charged and shipped.

I cannot believe how unpopular Gold and Rose Gold are this year. Both were impossible to get when they first came out. I remember waiting out at the local AT&T store for the 5S launch. I was first in line (as usual). A ton of people were in line by the time the store opened. They said they had gotten no phones of any storage size in gold. Most left! Now you can get them no problem, even from T-Mobile!
The rose gold is still giving me a 09/27-10/10 estimated shipping. Hopefully, the unpopularity means I will get it on launch day. Lol. I've had the gold for a while & now I want the rose gold. The black just wasn't appealing to me. I think I'm the odd duck when it comes to that one.

that is incorrect. T-mo locks there phones now. You have to have an active account for 40 days to unlock a T-Mo phone.

Unlock requirements
We provide mobile device unlock codes free of charge within two business days (or provides further information about timing) for eligible devices.

Device eligibility is determined as follows:
  • The device must be a T-Mobile device.
  • The device must not be reported as lost, stolen or blocked to T-Mobile.
  • The account associated with the device must not be cancelled and is in good standing.
  • You have requested no more than 2 mobile device unlock codes per line of service in the last 12 months.
  • The device must satisfy all the Postpaid or Pay in Advance (Prepaid) Unlocking terms outlined below.
  • T-Mobile may request proof of purchase or additional information in its discretion and certain other exceptions may apply.
Unlock eligibility for monthly phones, tablets, and mobile internet devices
  • The device must have been active on the T-Mobile network for at least 40 days on the requesting line.

Purchased through Apple.com its unlocked. If I went through T-Mobiles website it would be locked

Has anyone who ordered a 7 + 128gb in black through Apple with a delivery date of 9/16 moved past preparing for shipment?

I finally made the switch to T-Mobile after being with At&t for 18 years. I walked into the store on Friday night. I switch my plan and bought an iPhone 7 plus 128 jet black and an iPhone 7 gold for the wife. The clerk told me that there is no back order and I should receive my phones in the mail on Friday. I get a confirmation email about my order the next day telling me My phones will be shipped 11/01/16 - 11/30/16. I thought that was some kind of date place holder tell the iPhone ships this week but when I called customer service he told me that the computer system at the store is different from the main national system and is behind on that kind of information, so those dates are correct. He told me that there's a very, very small chance to get the phones I want by standing in line at a store on Friday. Oh, and I can't sign up to T-Mobile online to help track any of this because I don't have a T-Mobile phone yet.

Maybe try messaging T-Mobile support on Twitter. Those reps seems to be the most up to date aside from the exec team. When I tried to call in to pre-order Friday morning, one of those reps told me I couldn't do JoD over the phone and tried to get me to pay off my JoD lease and pre-order that way (despite JoD being allowed over the phone).

Same date I got for the 7+ phones I bought yesterday.

I loved the gold phone but recently fell in love with the rose gold & I have to have it! I've never been one to care much for black phones. I would always get the white iPhones when I went to Apple.

Really upset with T-Mobile. Jumped to iPhone 7 at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and also two trade-ins to the 7 for other two lines. Signed both EIPs. Upgrades get confirmation, my jump no. Called on Saturday, apparently they can't detect my signed EIP. Wait 24 hours. Called again Sunday so they can resend EIP and also went to the store for the same thing, wait another 24 hours they said. Went to the store again, apparently my order is only partially created and still pending my signature, even after I showed them my signed lease agreement. Wait another 24 hours, if not, until Friday, they said. Order can't even be cancelled cause it's a jump. I am seriously pissed-off! :mad:
