Any idea if I did this option that I would still be eligible to trade in phone through verizon and do the device payment plan option? I have had no movement on my MB 128 + ordered through vzw. Ordered 9/9 at 3 pm EST with a delivery of 10/5.

Any idea if I did this option that I would still be eligible to trade in phone through verizon and do the device payment plan option? I have had no movement on my MB 128 + ordered through vzw. Ordered 9/9 at 3 pm EST with a delivery of 10/5.
I don't believe there has been any movement on JB at all. I'm still impatiently waiting as well. Since my husband ordered JB +, which is holding up my Silver +
I chatted with an Apple Specialist earlier today. If you go through Apple, you cannot do the Verizon monthly plan in-store or online. Probably got his through the Apple upgrade plan or paid in full. Probably the only downside to Verizon, can't purchase iPhones directly through Apple.
It also has to do with time of order completed (0210cst confirmation email 0225) and then what iPhone is ordered (7 128 g mb and 7+ 128g mb) and the last funny thing is this year they shipped both phones together in the same box bc the 7 128g mb was delivery date 9-16 but they held it to ship with my 7+ 128g mb which did have delivery date 9-23

I'm going to apple tonight to pick up a IPhone 7+. The kicker is, I'm reserved a Verizon phone when I'm att. I heard that Verizon phones are fine and that when I get there, I'll just tell them it's for att.
I just wanna make sure that's true so I don't waste a 2 hour trip. And also, since I'm porting my phone (I was originally T-Mobile) att said to just come trade in my phone and get the new sims card so I can give it to the sales rep at apple. So the sims will be active.
I'm adding a line by the way! Since I didn't before because I was waiting for the iPhone. (I also have one on preorder that has been processing for a week!)

Just went to pick up another reserved iPhone 7+ MB and some guy saw the sales rep bring up my phone and goes "YOU LIED YOU DO HAVE IT" lollll sales rep goes "no this customer reserved it online". The guy then proceeds to ask me "Hey man you trying to sell that phone to me for a quick profit?" loooool

you'll be fine. Verizon phones work on all the networks so just pay full price and put in whatever sim card you have and it will activate. Ive done this for the 6s.

I don't plan on paying the full price. I want to put it on my line and pay it every month
Not sure how that works out and if it will cause problems. You should probably make sure though so you don't waste 2 hours
That is not true. Apple's website itself tells you that you can finance via apple or your carrier.

I don't think they can do that when you get the Verizon model. You will need to get the AT&T model to do the AT&T Next. I think when you set it up, it looks at the IMEI number and if it's not registered to AT&T, they can't do it.
And I now have a tracking number, delivery projected for Wednesday. Interesting, the "shipping date" is listed as yesterday, but the tracking shows it wasn't picked up by Fed-Ex until today. I assume that it was sitting in the warehouse since yesterday waiting for fed-ex, but who knows. The 9/21 delivery date beats my original 9.23 date, but it would have been nice to get it last Friday. I guess I will have to entertain myself by sending messages with random animated .gifs from the movie commando...
West coast was available 1203-1204ish... I ordered mine and saw cali Oregon and others available... I snagged one at 1205..

You want to put a Verizon phone on your AT&T line but not pay full price? How exactly are you going to do that? Use Apple's payment program? AT&T won't let you finance a Verizon phone.
