Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Verizon Pre-Order Thread

gah, i thought about doing that this morning but forgot!!
Mine still shows delivery date unknown and no updates since saturday
i called Apple and spoke to them myself... i even spoke to Verizon both of them confirmed it... Verizon also told me to give Apple my 6s
Have seen others in here with my situation:

- Confirmation email was 3:20am Eastern.
- Originally confirmation email, and Order Status page (not the email click-through link) both said 10/5 delivery.
- The email click-through has always said 9/23.
- NOW, as of Saturday, the Order Status page has changed from 10/5 to 9/23.
So that's good.
Not sure if this has been posted, but those of you with no charge/tracking yet. This is what I did yesterday.
I went online early in the morning to https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/US/en...1&sourceID=email&rv=0&path=&iPP=U&appleCare=Y and reserved a 128GB Plus Matte Black VZW at my local store. It is the Iphone Upgrade Program reservation link, because the regular consumer reservation link does not seem to have stock. I kept my pre order open until I met with a sales person at the apple store. I told him I wanted to do the VZW Device payments instead of the Apple Upgrade program. They said no problem and they could do it. So I went on my iPad, cancelled my pre-order right there, and he processed the upgrade on the phone with no issues!
I was worried because going through the IUP reservation link, they would only allow me to pay for it that way, but you can pay anyway you'd like!

After speaking to both Apple and Verizon on the phone they both said you give your old device to Apple when you pick up your 7. you give them just the phone no sim or charger. they also said make sure find my iphone is turned off
Agreed... I cancelled my pre order last night once I got a reservation... I couldn't wait any longer... the prob is pre ordering with a company like Verizon or a carrier who have no clue how many devices they are getting... they just take the preorder and hope they'll get stock.... my first year doing Verizon.. every year I just go thru apple.. last time I do Verizon for pre orders!
Same sentiments here.... I'm waiting for the same phone as you are and I too, ordered right after preorders went live. I've done this 4 years in a row with Verizon and never seen it this poorly executed. At least when the Six Plus came out even 13 days later they weren't readily available in a lot of stores, so I felt like the pre order "saved" me a phone and I still got it earlier than I could have otherwise... what was the point of pre ordering at all in this case.... answer none at all...no phone launch day, and the stores are loaded with stock. Unless you wanted JB I'm not sure what the point of preordering was.

It works, can't do Verizon financing online but in store it's an option on their devices when they ring you up
There's a girl on here who said she reserved hers through apple and there is the option to finance monthly through the carrier.
I have preordered through Verizon every year since the iPhone 5 and have received the phone every time on launch day. Thought this year would be no different but they completely let me down. I still believe Apple pushed the release up a week and that's why only a select few got their phones on launch day and no jet blacks at all.

Check every night about 1203amish local time .. only ones I haven't seen was jet black..
Are you still able to get the $650 for trade in? That's my concern. Because Verizon told me to get the $650 for trade in I'd have to do DPP (which seems doable at the Apple Store) then I have to mail in the phone to get the full $650. Not sure how that will work out.
Until the carrier picks up the phone. Usually 24 hrs or so. It'll ship out tomorrow. You'll probably have it by Wednesday/Thursday.
after you get your phone from Apple you can trade in the old phone direct to Verizon
Next business day. Basically, verizon created a shipping label/request but, UPS won't see it nor will it populate anything on their website until they scan the package. That happened to me last week on Thursday.
Um....interested. I was told by the Verizon rep that you must mail in to get the full $650. They told me if you turn in at the Verizon store they'd only give you the $250 normal trade in price. Now I'm confused.
