That's not how it works. Verizon will send with your new phone a shipping label to mail in your old phone.
Update: was charged last night for my 128GB MB Plus, ordered at 7:30am EDT on 9/9, with a ship/delivery date of 9/23. Just checked "My Orders" on the VzW page - I have a UPS tracking number via "UPSGROUND1". Woot! Come to papa!! 
I received the box to mail in my old phone. I haven't mailed it in yet but wanted to make sure it wouldn't delay my new one. My date is 10/12 so I definitely don't want to delay it anymore. Lol
Nope, ordered 7+ 256 MB still processing with a date of 10/5. Latest I've seen charged with tracking info is around 10 am on 9/9.

The phone has been all over the world last few days. First UPS gave me a delivery date of 9/20, now I think it arrived in Louisville, KY early this morning. Still NO firm delivery date from UPS.

No. I ordered in store about noon MST. 10/5 date all along. Ordered two phones. Mine MB 128gb 7+. Wife RG 128gb 7+.
This is the first time I've ever gotten caught up in a "first word problem" but damn it's fun. I check this thread way too much. I feel like you all have become an extended part of my family.
I did that and it said No results found for given confirmation number ..all I have is a preorder number, ace number and location number..no confirm #
Preorder confirmation # and confirm # are the same.
Found one (32GB mb 7+) at Apple Store I have appointment to get it today. Just got off the phone with Verizon rep and was told that if I get it from the Apple Store that there is no $650 credit on my iPhone 6. So I guess I keep waiting
That's strange. Is your phone completely paid off? I on the Edge payment program and they normally ship your new phone out to you with the label to return the old one. They know you will be without a phone until the new one comes, which I'm sure they don't want you to be without.
Lol glad you aren't taking it tooooo seriously. Overall even though people on this thread are anxious and some get a little upset it isn't too bad.
You should have seen the Android Central thread for the Galaxy S7 Edge pre order. People bragging about getting reps in trouble, whining, it was too much.
128 7+ MB ordered about 12 noon ET on 9/9 with orig ship date of 10/5. The ship date disappeared from my account for the first time this morning. Hope this means movement.
I got charged last night and the shipping date changed to 9/20 but i didnt get any tracking info. it says order sent to warehouse. ordered 9/9 9pm 7+128,7+258, 6+64 & 616. i tried picking up the 6ies from the store but they would not offer me the $100 off each phone that i got online so still have to wait.
