Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Verizon Pre-Order Thread

Update to my mess:
Ordered 2 VZW 7+ 128gb Jet Black and Black. Confirmation at 2:10 CT.
Original date on email 10/5 delivery. Updated to 9/23 on every site VZ has. Just spent an hour on the phone with them as the dates and CC had no change today. Very nice rep explained that a lot of 9/23 ship dates are being pushed for the Plus model back to 10/5 or later. I worked for Apple (in retail training and dev) from before the original iPhone to the 5s and honestly just posted here for the first time to say - this has to be the worst launch I've seen (and I was there for the 3G).
Spoke with Verizon again - now 10/5 but Amex just sent me a text saying I was charged. Website still has zero dates or any other information. Fingers crossed they actually deliver (close to at least) the date!

omg..it finally happened......I was finally charged.........the celebration can finally begin!! Happy SATURDAY!! Now here's the next question or 2;
A. Has anyone had luck posting a "please leave at door" sign on their door and not having to sign, or do they not allow that?
B. Why are there no storm grey leather cases available anywhere??

Should be...the preorder site changed to sent to warehouse for shipment after I was charged a little while ago. Said expected ship date 9/24

CC finally got charged at 3pm today PST. 256+ JB ordered on 9/9 at 1:30 am. 9/24 shipment date. Original EDD was 10/5
I got a 128 GB Rose Gold Plus today at an Apple Store. I cancelled my Verizon order around 9am. My Apple Store reservation was at 3pm.
Once I got there the Apple employee had no problem doing the Verizon Device Payment Plan instead of the Apple Upgrade Program. However; after filling everything out Verizon said I was "ineligible" for the monthly payment program (even though that's what my original order through them was for). It gave a number for the associate to call which we did and they said it was showing that I was eligible on their end and that my previous order was completely canceled.
The Apple employee got her boss over to see if we could figure it out and she said that sometimes it can take up to 24 hours before their system updates. She said they would hold the phone until tomorrow if I wanted to come back but we had driven 1.5 hrs there to get it so I just went ahead and did the Apple Upgrade Program.
Anyways, I just wanted to update in case anyone else was planning on canceling their Verizon order and picking up in the Apple store - might want to cancel 24 hrs before if you were wanting to do verizon monthly payments

Verizon just tried to charge my card but amex flagged it and asked me to verify. I okayed it through texts but got a message saying its okay to reattempt the charge again. does that mean I have to call verizon to redo their charge?
JUST did, about 5 mins ago! Mine is 128gb Jet Black Plus, 2:24am CST confirmation email.
CC was just charged!!! 12:26am MST 9/9 order of 128+ Jet black!
