Come on, we've had this very story posted hundreds of times already.

The box was damaged during transit. The iPhone battery was punctured. The outcome should be no surprise.

Is it a hoax? even if its not, 1 iPhone 7 out of the millions they have already sold is not going to be a big deal anyway.

Yes because the article states that something happened to it during shipping that caused that to happen. You can see even the box was severely damaged.

And i agree, these are going to be nothing like the Note 7 that exploded on its own and now their washers and driers too. Gotta love journalists who publish this stuff.

Well, don't sleep with your iPhone plugged in, at least not on your bed. You might end up in flames. If you have to, put in on a non-flammable surface. Not that wooden table or nightstand.

some say the hissing on the iphone7 is actually the fuse being lit. my advice is if your iphone is making a hissing sound that you stop, drop, and roll. on a side note dunking it in water won't work because the iphone is water proof.

With the iPhone 7 you can charge iPhone next to you in bed, just keep in pan of water. It's water resistant now.
