Hi,

According to this Macrumors's article "Nomura Securities also believes that Apple will include optical image stabilization (OIS) on both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone, whereas the feature has been exclusive to the larger iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus over the past two generations." link: Apple Turns to LG as Sony Falls Behind on Dual-Lens Camera ...

I do hope this is true as this is one of the features that I'd like to see when the 4.7 inch iPhone debuts this September.

Agreed. I would love to see Optical Image stabilization on the smaller iPhones. Fingers crossed.

All I want is a decent redesign, a headphone jack, and dual speakers (front facing or otherwise). Performance and camera are great on the current phones, and Touch ID is plenty fast, even on the iPhone 6. I just want them to keep the headphone jack! I don't want BT headphones, Lightning headphones, or an adapter.

16/64/256GB of storage for the iPhone 7. Not 100% confirmed, but if the iPhone 7 still starts at just 16GB of storage in a time when their sales growth finally stopped and their newest device is about to look the same as the previous two generations, then they must be out of their minds.

Not only this, but if they keep the 16GB of storage now, there is virtually no chance that they will increase it next year because the selling point will be the new design. So the way things look like now is 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM in 2016, same for 2017, and 32/4GB until 2018

I honestly don't think we will see 4GB until 2020. it took forever to get 2GB of ram. 3GB maybe but i would not hold my breath

Leaked schematics seem to confirm a dual-lens camera for the iPhone 7 Plus

I don't understand why they still focus so much on the camera. It's good enough now for the majority of users.

Good enough ? Not really. If my 6s had IOS stabilization, f/1.7 lens and a fast focus, than I would say yes for me.

FIr me, the camera on the 6s is more than good enough; and this is with my photographer hat on. (Says smugly with his 5diii and l-lens hanging off his neck.) o_O

Have you ever tried taking pictures at night or use the zoom feature in any low light? Apple sucks when it comes to the cameras in anything other than out doors IMO. Watch anyone with a Galaxy take a picture at night or zoom in and take pictures in lower light and that will change your idea of Apple having a good camera.

When apple loses interest in improving a component, it is often that they are reallocating resources to its replacement. Also makes for a bigger marketing splash in terms of "improvement"/"best ever" etc...

The 6S camera is terrible in low light conditions compared to some of its rivals

And what kind of photographer are you ? Seems a number of member disagree with you about how the current variation of the camera is good enough. No its not. It can be improved, than we can talk about good enough. Some of use just use our camera phone for photos and do not want a DSLR to carry around. ;)

You could say that about every spec. The processor, the RAM, the display, etc. They're all "good enough" at this point. But people aren't going to shell out money for a new phone that doesn't offer improvements over the previous model even if the improvements aren't needed.

Everything with cell phone cameras can be improved across all manufacturers, but you pick your poison. Disagreement is the nature of the beast. Btw, I'm a photographer that takes a lot of pictures; it's my avocation.

But better than others in other conditions; a number of comparisons have shown that.

IHS Technology analyst Kevin Wang stated that apple will bump up the storage on its entry-level models iPhone from 16GB to 32GB.

Another year of fragmented bs and Apple taking my money because I refuse to try anything else. I may try another type of device this time around though because apparently the best stuff is being saved for the 2017 iPhone.
