All I see is a more precise white point than iPhone 6s. 6,508 K compared to 6,794 K (the closer to 6,500 K, the better)
From the same page:

Unfortunately though, in both review units I received the display has a noticeable green tint for many shades of grey, which seems to be somewhat of a perpetual problem with Samsung AMOLED displays. This really does affect quite a bit of the UI, as Material Design greys have this noticeable green tint to them that really makes things look off.

I should have said grays instead of whites...

So very true, i tried the S4 and i regretted it! i couldn't wait until the 5S was released. Apple's customer service has been great, at least in my opinion, I've only ever needed to contact them a couple of times but each time they have been very helpful. The first time was with my Apple TV a few years ago and the other most recent was my iMac which had a problem with the hard drive, Apple arranged for it to be collected the next day, and it was returned to me within the week, Apple go the extra mile in order to keep their customers happy.
I'm not saying that Samsung don't make some really great products, we have 2 Samsung TV's and a washing machine that have served us well, i just don't think that they are very good at phones and tablets, at least when compared to Apple.
The hardware for the time when S4 came out was nice, but the software was all over the place, and Android. Ew. I remember being impressed by the hardware, but the software was making me scream, or yell out loud at my phone. Google cloud was saying all my stuff was being backed up, and it never did at all! UGH. I lost all my photos and everything. It was just frustrating jumping through hoops to get anything done on Android, period. It's just so nauseating. I'm just glad I got an iPhone, and the whole ecosystem just 'works'. Android really does remind me of Windows, but for the mobile space, and that really scares me. Haha.

In regards to your customer service experience with Apple, that's awesome they treated you so well! Very reassuring! All my friends have experienced good things from them as well, thankfully. :) And, yep Samsung does make some nice stuff. Ironically, we were deciding which washer/dryer combo to get, but ended up getting the LG set. It just had more space in the washer and dryer. But consumer reports rated both brands as the best in their class for washer/dryers. :) And, in regards to their tablets, I've never used them, so I can't comment on that! But, the S7 hardware wise is much better compared to previous Galaxy iterations. So, I guess its a step in the right direction, but the damn software. Android. Ew. lol

And it continues:

If you have to quote, try to be honest and quote ALL of that

"but both devices have a noticeably lower gamma than expected, which does have some effect on accuracy but for the most part can help to serve as a compensation mechanism for reflectance when dealing with ambient light. It’s likely that the green tint issue may only appear on a device to device basis, but to see that such issues haven’t been resolved for years is somewhat concerning given that phones costing hundreds of dollars less don’t seem to have the same problems."

"In addition to the grayscale problems mentioned earlier, Samsung clearly has not resolved issues with color shifting that occurs with viewing angle changes. LCDs definitely have more luminance degradation as you move away from the normal of the display plane, but at almost every angle change I can see whites get noticeably colder and interference patterns, in addition to a general color shift that is noticeably more than most LCDs used in high end smartphones and tablets. It’s obvious that this is a hard problem to solve due to uneven subpixel aging, but for things like tablets, laptops, and desktops color shifting is going to be a much more significant issue."

OLED displays are far from being the perfect solution Samsung 's lovers are claiming to be.

My point wasn't that Samsung's screens are perfect so I wasn't being dishonest at all. The initial argument was that OLED offers much better contrast ratios, which is true due to perfect blacks. Nothing to do with marketing ploy.

An apparent photo of the iPhone 7 with a dual-lens camera was placed on the macrumors front place but I'll place it here as well:

Some 3D renders of how the iPhone 7 might look:

Oh god, I hope that's not it. That camera is hideous.

It's funny how Apple gets absolutely ripped apart for a protruding camera but all other Android manufacturers do it far worse and get praised on excellent design. Samsung has a hideous, large square camera module. The Nexus 5x and 6p stick out even further and stretch the entire width of the device. If this design leak is real, it's still smaller than any of those.

I agree, it's not fair at all. At least the iPhone has always been competent in terms of design :)

I suspect Apple will keep the bezels the same size because they provide extra space for the dual-cameras. Personally, that is not a problem for me (since I use the regular iPhone 6s), but the people who use the Plus models could certainly use a smaller body.

Have you seen the camera on the Samsung S7 or edge ? Its does not protrude like the Apples 6/6s/or +.

Bring on more leaks. And, I hope Apple reads some of their users thoughts/concerns and addresses changes accordingly. If not, tsk tsk.
At this stage of the game, the next iPhone is set in stone. No changes could possibly be contemplated and still meet September manufacturing volumes. In fact the 7s and 8 are fairly well along at this point. For the 8 you might have a chance at influencing some feature if Apple relied on focus groups and public opinion to influence design. However it does not. Apple design engineers will decide what you will want, period.

Every interview regarding design of products has always revealed that Apple does not follow public opinion in deciding design. Ivy will have the last word. They will have several test machines that may vary, but they will decide internally what will go into production. Based on their profits to date, this business model is working for them quite well.

Correct.
Samsung on the edge used a totally useless curved display and no one said anything. People even praise them for the design !
At least on the S6 Edge the curved display had a little use for some apps:

Mostly a gimmick but at least a credible one.
Look at the S7 !!!!

r_600x450.jpg

They could have done the same on the "flat" S7. The curved display has no point there. It only distort images...

But it's ok because it's Samsung

It does protrude.
And the iPhone 6 / 6S bulge is just a little circle (the dual flash is even slightly recessed !):

but the Galaxy S7 is a rather big square (actually TWO because there is also the flash protruding):

But Samsung's is a good design right ? Because, you know, it's Samsung, and it's so cool here to downplay Apple on everything....

This has been one of my biggest disappointments with Apple. I want this iPhone 7 different, but I doubt it from the leaks I've seen.

I think it's safe to say it will definitely be thinner, slightly quicker and a few tweaks here and there. I really wish Apple would ditch this obsession with thinness. For me phones and tablets don't need to be any thinner as they are at the limit now. I would much rather keep the thickness and work on reducing bezel sizes and improve battery life than shave a few 0.01 MM. Here and there, but hey apple is a dictatorship and THEY tell you what you want! Just take Samsung for instance, may people complained about the S6 not having expendable storage and losing the water/dust protection from the S5. They listened to what the customers were saying and put them back into the new S7.

Hardware-wise, the curved design is the only way to get a phone with a 5.5" display that falls somewhere in between the size of the regular iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

Software-wise, it's a complete gimmick. The regular S7 could do the same things if they had let it.

Doesn't surprise me though: Samsung is excellent at hardware yet horrible at software.
