Something isn't right about those. Two reasons.

1: Missing the volume controls and mic.
2: Zoom in and notice there's a lot of what looks like funny (bad) photoshopping going on where many of the cords intersect in the "coiled up" areas

I agree. And it looks excessively long too

Yea I've seen that one, the reliable onleak guy posted about it saying it's fake because you can see the headphone jack in the reflection :D I hope we see some real iPhone 7 leaks soon and in the coming months! I'm looking forward to it either way.

None of these iPhone 7 leaks make sense, because they all assume that it will have the same shape as the iPhone 6. Apple has always changed the shape of the phone from one gen to the next (excluding S years), and so I'll start believing them when we see a new shape. I'd love to see shrunken bezels so that a Plus model becomes more pocketable. After seeing what Samsung has done with the latest Galaxy line, specifically the Edge, it would be a huge disappointment for Apple to maintain the current phone sizes.

I agree. Change of design is inevitable. Maybe not a change in form factor but something similar to the way 5 evolved from 4s. (Although I do believe that Apple must have already finalized 7's design by the time Samsung announced their S7 and hence S7 will have almost zero influence. Changes, if any, will be limited to software-based in iOS 10)

I'm amazed at how many fake photos people leak. Are they just attention-seeking idiots?

Also, how are the case makers in any way an accurate indicator of what the phone will look like? Aren't they just guessing too? I doubt they get actual specs from Apple.

S7 has a better screen objectively. You can prefer iPhone 3G screen to galaxy s7 edge, whatever, but the fact remains iPhone doeesn't have the best display out there anymore.
S7 is much easier to use with one hand than 6s plus and looks nicer from the front. The classical iPhone design doesn't work anymore for the phablet sized 6s plus. Apple needs to shave a few millimeters off from iPhone 6s bezels, top/bottom and from the sides.
agree with everything youve said about galaxy s7, the best part, i got two on tmobile buy one get one free which ended yesterday

Are we expecting the SIM to be an Apple SIM or be embedded?

I'm wondering that as well. 4 years ago the standards body had barely voted and confirmed the nano sim design/spec yet Apple had already designed the iPhone 5 with it.

I'm sure apple would love to remove the sim slot & tray. One less cut out/clean up design/one less spot for water to enter.

The bigger camera seems to line-up perfectly with the supposed leaked-case from last week (from OnLeaks).

This pretty much confirms that the bezels were not reduced in the slightest. If they were, the case would have been smaller (since I doubt Apple increased the size of the screen 0.1 or 0.2").

So far, this phone does not really live-up to the 10th iPhone hype :(

5-inch screen?

To be fair tho they do still throw in a couple of surprises, for example the iPad Pro 9.7" was announced with a 256GB of storage which was not expected (maybe the iPhone 7 will have the 256GB version as well).

No offense, but how the hell does a mobile phone need 256GB of storage?

Honestly, unless you're a freelance photographer on a budget that can't afford real photography equipment, I see no reason for this.

And, a 256GB iPhone 7+ would cost well over US $1,000. And that would be beyond ridiculous.

There is nothing wrong with more options for the consumer. I don't know why it bugs you so much that there might be a 256GB option! Do you get upset when people buy bigger homes, too? :p
