S6 has the same issue. I was playing MiniGore on a plane and after around 2 hours it started to lag like crazy and was hot to hold.
When I used to have an S4, it did this as well, from what I remember. Hmm, maybe Samsung should address this for future iterations of the Galaxy line, and have some consistency.
believe me: they are going to ignore that, no matter what...
You're right about that. But the SD card right?! lol

SD cards are too slow for random reads and writes and if you want substantial storage increase they are also expensive. Look home much the fastest 64 GB card from a good manufacturer costs.

It's cheaper to buy a phone with more storage and skip the storage management pain.

Oh ok, thanks for the input! :) But, to be honest I was just using the SD line because of how everyone is going to ignore Max(IT)'s throttling picture. :)

I remember reading another link, but I forgot the URL. But, I do know its an Asian guy who leaks all Apple info, and I remember looking at his history of leaks, and majority have come true. He's been pretty much spot on for ~85% of the time. Sorry, I just don't recall his name. Just having cloudy memory at the moment.

Again, that article is hoping and guessing, but it has NO credible rumors/sources.

I too have these hopes, but I'm not optimistic.

I know, but I wish I bookmarked that one link I had. If I find it again, I will post it. :) I just forgot the website and the leakers name. UGH!

Whatever Apple does i just hope they are not going to introduce another SKU at a even more absurd price point. And yes it is absurd.

Haha. Now that's some optimism (almost to the degree of Apple Koolaid optimism). The Galaxy S series has been around since 2010 and has been fudging the numbers from beginning to end.
I never knew they were fudging up the numbers. Shouldn't that be illegal? lol

With regards to a 256GB iPhone 7, it has been reported on a few sites, including Macrumours :)

https://www.macrumors.com/2016/01/02/iphone-7-plus-256gb-storage-3100-mah-battery/

http://9to5mac.com/2016/01/03/next-gen-apple-iphone-7-plus-to-feature-256-gb-storage-larger-
http://www.techradar.com/news/phone...ave-a-bigger-battery-256gb-of-storage-1311995

However these are only rumours and may not be at all accurate. It's interesting to see that all of the reports that talk about the 256GB version are saying that it will be for the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro ONLY.

Yes it should be, Samsung's customer service is appalling and along with their Touchwiz OS are a couple of the many reasons i would not jump from an iPhone to a Samsung phone. They might have great screens and SD slots but they are still far behind Apple in customer service and many other areas.

Agree about the price point. It is way too high right now, especially outside US.

embarrassing, but not really "illegal" ;)

I never had experience with their customer service, but to be fair a lot of companies customer service's are not what they used to be. But, I have dealt with Apple's, and it is by far the best I've dealt with. Hence, why they have such a high satisfaction rate. It is very well deserved IMO. I remember I was having a small issue with an Apple product, and the customer service rep's sent me a free iPod Nano. :D In regards to the Galaxy line, I heard TouchWiz has gotten a bit better on S7, but to me Android is always going to be Android. And, after S4 I'm never going back again. Sorry Google. The S7 maybe be nice hardware wise, but if software can't back it up, its kind of pointless. Also, in regards to Samsung Screens/etc, I have their 50 inch B750 LCD screen, and it still looks pretty decent to this day. Thankfully, I've had good luck with their products so far. *knock on wood* But I agree with your last part, Apple does definitely exceed Samsung in certain areas. No company can be perfect! Each one of them have their +'s, and -'s.

LOL, if I was an engineer at Samsung and saw that graph, I would definitely get depressed.

I wonder if Apple has/had any prototypes with QHD IPS displays in their lab. Would be nice to see the difference.
They probably do, but the view is blocked by all the piles of cash. Apple's running out of room!o_O

So very true, i tried the S4 and i regretted it! i couldn't wait until the 5S was released. Apple's customer service has been great, at least in my opinion, I've only ever needed to contact them a couple of times but each time they have been very helpful. The first time was with my Apple TV a few years ago and the other most recent was my iMac which had a problem with the hard drive, Apple arranged for it to be collected the next day, and it was returned to me within the week, Apple go the extra mile in order to keep their customers happy.
I'm not saying that Samsung don't make some really great products, we have 2 Samsung TV's and a washing machine that have served us well, i just don't think that they are very good at phones and tablets, at least when compared to Apple.

indeed, it would be interesting...
But from a commercial / engineering point of view they must evaluate pro/cons and then choose what to use.
From an user point of view it would be great to see it.

again, it's the marketing machine speaking here...
Your (and definitely mine too) eyes aren't going to improve in the next 2.5 years.
Max brightness and color accuracy are the most important parameters by far, and they already are top notch on the iPhone. The only way to improve the display is to raise the resolution, with marginal gain maintaining the current display size of 4.7".
Yes, they could do that and obtain an higher PPI, above 400PPI, but it would be mostly a marketing gimmick.
Sorry, but there's a noticeable difference in blacks between Galaxy s7 and iPhone 6s. OLED displays absolutely destroy LCD ones in this department. It's not just marketing machine doing its magic.

Like there is a noticeable difference in whites since the S7 display is greenie due to the PenTile matrix...

What made you return it?

Reasons:

1. Like the support better at Apple. No real contest
2. I'm some what heavy on Apple ecosystem
3. No really nice edge screen protector yet, and drop test comparing the iPhone 6s+ to the S7edge were on the 6S+ side
4. Issues with using a BlueTooth headset or other bluetooth device and reduced WiFi (Slowed down to a crawl for downloads). Long thread on this matter by other forum members as well confirming this is a major issue.
5. Just wanted to try one out to see if touchwiz was as bad as some have reported. For me it was not that bad, but some of the issues for me was the apps that were not as easy to use and more hurddles over iOS.
6. Apple was way more easy to use over Android (not real difficult, but some minor hassle) and I missed it for the limited time I had it.
7. Super sensitive screen. I really mean super sensitive. Others have actually complained
8. I felt like it. :D

What I did like:

1. Screen was really nice
2. Style was well done
3. Easy to hold, and the right size over the 6S or the 6S+
4. SD slot
5. Camera was really nice over the 6S or 6S+
6. Water resistant
7. AndroidCenteral forum seemed more tamed than MacRumor. Moderator does not allow as much arguing. Very helpful members it seemed

Thank you for sharing, I myself have used the iPhone going back since the 3GS, I did once try the Galaxy S4 and it was no where near as good as the iPhone is, I'm not a fan of Andriod either so IOS is the ecosystem I'm tied into. I'm looking forward to the iPhone 7.

Every iPhone release has surprises. Saying the 7 is a similar design with cosmetic changes is most probably true; and that will be coupled with some game changers.
Hopefully some up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right type s***.
