7+ Caudabe Sheath & Silk Base Grip

I like the overall design of The Sheath, but I like the texture & added protection of the Base Grip better.

Sorry if the pics are huge

Easygesus:

This is perfect! I'm actually using the Silk case as well and considering the Sheath. Your pictures give me a perfect frame of reference. I just wish the Silk had the same camera cutout as the Sheath.....

Yep, its a great case especially for the price. I wonder why it's hardly referenced. Only thing that concerns me is if it will get a little loose after a year or less.

I got the Sheath yesterday. I like it and would use it but it started to lift my Ice Max v1 screen protector. I have a v2 Ice Max on the way that I think is a hair smaller and hopefully won't lift.

Thanks for the info. What color did you get? I was waiting for the navy and hoping for a nice deep navy. This past week they put the stock photo up and it looks a little too light in color for my taste. I might go for the grey instead.
I went for the black. It was between black and grey for my matte black 7+, but I love the continuity of the black bezel with the black case. Looks as if the case is part of the phone.

The Benks case looks nice but I just wish there was a local online shop that carries it.

Got my Sheath case today after a paying customs charges and waiting for delivery to UK. Love it, but doesn't seem to be as polished as the iPhone 6 version with a few rough seams but I think I'm going to stick with it as it's so minimal.

The lip is quite different to the 6 version and I think it doesn't extend as far over the front face of the phone as before and leaves a 1mm gap all around my 2.5D screen protector (by Smash-It) which is collecting quite a bit of lint/dust. Fitting my 6 version on the iPhone 7 leaves next to no gap which would have been perfect but I guess Caudabe wanted the lip to raise the phone a bit more when placed down face-first.

To anyone else with the Sheath case: what screen protector are you using and is there a gap all around? I only really want an E2E screen protector and want to see if any of the curved edge ones will be compatible.

I have v1 of the Ice Max and there is no gap BUT it lifts it.

I'm using the sheath as well, but only have a non edge to edge tempered glass.

i have now been using the Pitaka iPhone 7 case for a week. i have to say i am really impressed by the fit and feel of the case. i expected it to be a little slippery, but to my surprise it has a little very slight rubber grippy feel to it. i also thought it would be stiff but it was not.

The case came very well packaged with a hand written thank you note, which made it so much more personal.

only downside to the case is the rubber thing on the camera hole, it lasted a day so i just took it off. other than that no complants at all for me

Just ordered mine, how's the grip on the sheath?

I have the Apple leather case, but find it too slippery so I'm trying to switch over to the sheath. I've already dropped my phone 3 times cause it slipped out while holding it.

Can you guys post more pics of your Caudabe Sheath? I'm really considering trying it out.

For me, the grip is pretty good. It fits perfectly. Please note if you have a tempered glass the lip around the screen won't raise much above; just a little.

Just got the Caudabe Synthesis in Stealth Black on my MB 7+. I tried taking some pics. That is the Anker Glassguard tempered glass screen protector in case anyone is wondering. It still has somewhat of a lip even with a tempered glass. Pretty cool. Camera is also protected. Buttons are clicky. Cutouts line up perfectly. There's also four little feet in the back corners for extra protection. Matte finish. The case has grip, but not too grippy so it's easy in and out of pockets. It's also really easy to take on and off the phone.

Initial impressions: pretty cool case. A little pricey at almost $30.00 including shipping though.

Awesome! I've just ordered mine and now for the long wait in the UK. Looks a lot like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case which I loved. Which do you prefer out of the Sheath and the Synthesis? Any noticeable difference in grip or bulk?

Hope you used the 30%-off discount! If you didn't I'm sure if you contacted them they might be able to refund a bit, great customer service!

I prefer the Synthesis now. It does make your phone bulkier than the Sheath, but you're getting a lot more protection. It still manages to keep the phone Slim though.

It's a tad bit grippier than the Sheath. It's kinda tough to explain. It's very rigid, but yet somewhat pliable. Has a smooth, matte finish that's grippy but very easy in and out of pockets. I don't feel like I'm gonna drop my phone with this thing on.

I tried using the 30% off promo code but it wouldn't work, maybe because I had already used it when ordering the Sheath previously?

I ordered a black and a navy Caudabe Sheath. Someone was asking about the true color of the navy. The navy is absolutely a different color than the Caudabe website shows. The case is actually a very dark navy blue, which I like. I am loving the case so far. It is exactly what I've been looking for. I really like the cut out around the camera. The volume and power buttons click normally. Fits perfectly. Isn't "baggy" on the back. Very happy with my purchase.

I'm also keeping the Sheath as well. Mine is also black. I think I've decided on just these two cases. Since I didn't have any luck with the Apple leather case, which is the one I mainly used the whole time I had my 6S.

can you take a picture of the blue case? I was also tempted to purchase the case in blue but wasn't too sure about the colour on the website.
