If I were looking for a thin case (like one of those ~0.35 ones) that had a blue color like the one that was rumored to be the new iPhone color for a while, what should I be getting? I was looking at the SwitchEasy one but the 7+ version is still not available.

I'd say a small amount but since it's a hard plastic, although thin, it's still not optimal for grip. If you want thin and some grip have you tried looking at skins?

I have the caudabe veil xtp for the 7 plus in black, but I don' t like the grip. Too much texture. Does the elago feel smoother, less rough?

Received this case yesterday. Sort of a bumper/minimalist hybrid. The rim is slightly thicker than the camera hump, so it's a little thicker than the tozo/elago/etc, but the clear plastic is just a thin. Note that it's not TPU like the listing says - the whole thing is matte and clear PC. The matte rim adds slight grip, but the clear back has a glossy feel like the jet black iphone, which adds grip.

Only complaint is that the buttons aren't quite as clicky compared to some other cases/naked. Not bad enough to stop using it though.

There are a handful of listing on ebay (search "iphone 7 plus thinnest") at various prices/shipping times. This is the listing I bought, which was $3 at the time (now $5) and arrived in 6 days.

Can take some pictures of my phone (silver 7+ and black rim case) when I get a chance

Just got the Caudabe Sheath in for my 7+.

The Sheath's cutouts and fit are absolutely perfect (was worried about the individual cutouts around the camera, rear mic, and flash). The case has a good amount of grip, but I would've liked a tad more, but still good (but not great) none-the-less. Definitely the best thin + protection case I've ever owned across multiple devices. The buttons have a good tactile feel and click. Slight lip protects the screen. There is also a lip protecting the camera

Only downside I have is the molding lines on the side and it is pretty tough to get off.

*I would easily recommend this case if you want thin (.9mm compared to .35/.40mm of a Veil XT/Elago/Peel) but with some actual protection. Case is barely noticeable when it is on, so still gives that "near-naked" feel. I would give this a 9.5/10

Any photos? Ordered mine when it was released but still waiting for delivery to UK. I'm curious about what the front lip looks like as their promo shot seem to only show the back of the case

I'll try to get some pictures when I get home. The lip is pretty minimal

I just got my Tozo case in today from Amazon and have to say I am impressed. Fits like a glove and cutouts are perfect. Just a bit slippery, but love the frost clear.

Does the sides flex?

Caudabe is having a 30% off sale right now with the promo code SORRYFORTHEWAIT. Not sure when it expires.

Just got the Sheath for my 7+ so can speak to this a little. If you mean is it pliable vs. rigid, yes it is flexible. It fits like a glove. I echo the poster who gave it a 9.5/10. The material is very tactile and, for me, it's just enough grip. I don't feel like my phone will slip out of my hand at all, and it adds almost nothing to the volume of the phone. Highly recommend.

Are you using it with a tempered glass? If so, does the lip rise above it?

Just got the Veil XT for my 7 Plus and the cutouts are not as perfect as the other folks here made it sound. Very slight overlap with the speaker ports (almost negligible but bothersome to me) and the bottom rim of the camera is also exposed.

Love the texture but disappointed in the quality for the cost.

We just received the Orzly Flexislim case for iPhone 7 from Amazon.

I can't say that I am impressed, there is a lot of flex and give in the way the edge fits compared to the Caudabe Veil.

My wife used hers for less than a day before becoming concerned it was too slippery. I'm going to use it until my Caudabe gets here.

Thanks for the info. What color did you get? I was waiting for the navy and hoping for a nice deep navy. This past week they put the stock photo up and it looks a little too light in color for my taste. I might go for the grey instead.

I like the overall design of The Sheath, but I like the texture & added protection of the Base Grip better.

Sorry if the pics are huge
