I was DMing with them too. I won't be able to check if I'm affected with the new beta since I won't be back to work till Friday. The no service issue didn't occur when I was home.

The issue is more apparent when driving- it goes to no service. When stationary it bounces from 4G, 3G and 1X intermittently. I also updated a 5S with iOS 10 and it has carrier 25.1 too. I plan on taking this out for a drive to see if we can isolate issue to hardware or software.

I agree, my GF lives a 10 minute drive away. Yesterday when I dropped her off and got out of my car (from my house), I had 3G and it was essentially unusable. I always have LTE in my town.

I airplane moded it back to LTE, but that's really annoying. I downloaded the new iOS beta, so i'll see if it improves with that

Yea noticed this morning I drove home from the store and looked at my phone and it was on 3G which is very abnormal around here.

Maybe a feature with iOS 10.1 will be, to make Verizon better again.

Same exact issues.
Several 1x and 3G on drive to/from NJ today (from NY).
Turning off VoLTE didn't solve it.

7+ on top, 6S+ bottom. Same sim card.

Mine is just officially dead, no signal at all. I had SIM card replaced today and still having the same issues, now it's just dead. A restart or network settings reset doesn't fix this one.

I'm officially just returning this and wait for the Jet Black when it becomes available.

Report it to Verizon using the same trouble ticket number we all use. It actually may be tied into our local network here in NY/NJ or only affecting certain markets.

Try the new dev beta 1 and see if it helps with carrier settings 25.5. Pm me.

I dunno I'm in the same exact spot at I work I was yesterday and after turning of advanced calling and back on again, I have zero network issues. Maybe that was the issue all along. I sent my findings to Verizon customer service through an ongoing chat we have.

Hmm where is that setting? I can't find anything for advanced calling.

I asked them to forward it to their engineers in case its a baseband/modem issue with their carrier settings 25.1

also, I wonder if 10.0.1 is causing it. the phone came with 10.0 out of the box and I promptly updated. however, my iPhone 6 was on 10.0.1 before I switched and none of this happened on it as well.

what was the software fix for t-mobile users that fixed their issue? carrier update?

I was on 10.0 until this afternoon and I had the no service issue several times. After installing 10.0.1 I drove home from work and the issue happened again. So I don't think that makes a difference.

It didn't at all. In fact, my iPhone7+ now doesn't connect at all. Just says "No Service", even after a restart and network settings reset. It searches but still "No Service"

Try reseating the SIM card or go onto your account and make sure that SIM shows as active on your account. The constant swapping may confuse or cause issues for the cdma side of the phone I think. Hot swapping pure GSM SIM cards is one thing. But these are still cdma phones under the hood.

this all has to be software/network related. way to many variables out there (numerous carriers, centered on VZW though, different phones, different locations). carrier settings 25.5 may contain the same bug or issue that 25.1 has. I don't think its the phones hardware.
