Is anyone else experiening very slow LTE speeds when they have service?

In a place where I normally get disruptions, I got "LTE" but when I did a test, I got 3.45Mbps Down, 0.17MBps Up, 41ms ping.

I only read the last couple of pages but I notice a LOT of people with this issue are in New Jersey. I doubt that's a coincidence.

I upgraded to the beta 2 last week and yet I continue to have problems within the Albuquerque area. I still have problems where I had none before. I'll be sitting in my kitchen when I do a Speedtest, and show 4-12Mbs and then a 'No Service' a few seconds later, then I toggle airplane mode and then do another Speedtest with 4-12Mbs. It makes no sense in my area, due to the fact that I always received great service coverage before.

I had my phone ( iphone 7 128gb, matte verizon) swapped this past Saturday and on the way home, It continued to go out of service. In my house where I usually have full service, its showing 1-2 bars at the most.

Was also told by apple , if it continues its more than likely a software issue and they cant give me another phone.

I also heard the apple genius' talking under their breath that my phone was the first batch and was a bad batch.

Totally ticked off

Overall I am not having the drop to 3G/1X/No Service issue with Beta 2 VZW Carrier 26.0

BUT I am noting that I am pretty much stuck at 2-3 bars of LTE at all times while my wife's 6S is showing full strength. Also my data speeds sometimes are awful or the data connection is completely stalled, I know the network can be overloaded but I have not experience this in the year I have been with Verizon so I don't think we are out of the woods yet.

It's been stated 30 times in this thread that replacing your phone won't fix the issue, so no surprise there.

Also, TBH I take what 99% of representatives, whether it's Apple Geniuses or Support reps, with a grain of salt. The likelihood that 2 Apple Geniuses know the secret details of this issue is very, very unlikely. Regardless of what they tell you. They work in retail, not as an engineer or someone who would have a true understanding of this issue.

The likelihood that this is hardware related is very, very unlikely, though it is possible until we truly determine the root cause. It's still possible that the new Beta/Carrier combo has fixed this issue, though until it's officially announced this remains to be seen.

I agree. And for all we know Verizon or Apple has fixed it, and we have to wait for Apple to release an update to iOS 10.

10.1 B3 = Carrier 26.0. Same as B2. Will try performance on drive home.

Signal seems to lock on like it did with B2. Only thing that is annoying is, coming out of parking garage put me on 3G. It stayed on 3G for a very long time. How fast should it switch back to LTE?

Are people just impatient and toggling airplane to get data back or does it not come back unless you do that? I have the problem but my data comes back within 30 seconds or less by itself. I've never touched airplane mode. Not sure if this is same problem or a variation. I've even see it go from no service to LTE directly within 10 seconds. It's all very strange

One time it would not come back from "No Service" until I restarted the iPhone. Mind you this was at a bank where even my 6S occasionally took a couple seconds to connect after getting back into my car.

No improvements with speed 10.1 Beta 3

Have had no drops so far on beta 2 for almost a week. Driven to CT, NY, NJ. Signal isn't always amazing but the big issue of the dropping every 10 minutes is history for me.

Do most of you only have this issue while driving? Because I have notice this happen indoors, usually after taking it out of my pocket, in more than a couple specific locations, and a couple times outdoors. I will see tomorrow as I head back to some of these locations with beta 3.

Also these locations are in zip codes that Verizon has told me have "good coverage areas."

I had that stuck on 2-3 dots issue. A reboot or toggle airplane mode fixed that.

I will happen when idle, indoors or outdoors as well. Had it happen to me at work today, just sitting there it dropped to No Service. Been using Beta 2, which seems better, but issue is still there.
