Great shots all... proof is in the pudding. Amateur shots taken with a phone look much nicer and are more interesting that spec debates....

Seems like the real improvement lies in low light conditions. Makes sense seeing as the aperture is the biggest change. Its unfortunate, but sensor tech has peaked over the past few years. Most new cameras are seeing very small gains (after the huge increases a few years ago).

Looking forward to testing out OIS and the F1.8 on the 7.

Seeing some really great photo's, i cant believe there are threads with people saying the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus camera's are bad, i'm seeing the complete opposite in this thread. Obviously i will have to wait and see when i get my 7 Plus and test the camera for myself.

Nice shot, the grain almost make it look like film! Did you bump the Color noise slider all the way to 100? I find raw files from the iPhone 7 require a lot of work to remove noise.

Haha it does doesn't it, I remember them referring to film like rendering in the key note which I thought was a bit farfetched at the time but I can see what they mean.

I use in ProCam and generally shoot at ISO 32 so haven't really noticed any color noise but there's definitely grain present in the shadows but I'd rather have the extra detail than mushy looking jpg noise reduction.
