how can it be normal I tried my old iphone 6 4.7 inch no flickering at all and even an ipod touch 6
here a better video I can reproduce it many times I know the plus version flickers but I don't think the smaller size would

If opening apps and quitting out of them is all you do with your phone return it and go get a good book to read.

Just realized this is a Alexrat thread

I gave you advice before, you have a good phone. Don't look at every minor thing and freak out bc you'll never enjoy it. I just looked through your thread history, you have like 7 created threads about UPS shipping slow alone. Be patient, enjoy the phone.
It could be my display that's defective and I just got this iPhone 7 has anyone tired the public beta this is not a minor thing if it was I wouldn't be posting at the first place

its not defective, mine flickers too. Bc mine does it, its software. My gfs 6 on iOS 10 does it, further proves it software related.

If it was a software bug like you say a restore as new would of fixed the problem
This isn't true, its a bug within iOS 10.

It's not uncommon for him to post these threads as you stated. There interesting to read to say the least.

Not necessarily. Software is complex and a bug may show up on some devices and not others.

Quit worrying about it and just use your iPhone. Opening and closing an app repeatedly isn't normal usage, it's nit picking and just looking for problems.

does the public beta make this go away and anyway here a normal iphone 6 64GB on ios 10 no flickering at all

I'm confident it has something to do with the transparency. Try changing the background.

And it is a minor problem.

I've seen similar flickering on my old 6s Plus when rotating from landscape to portrait, if I recall. It wasn't consistent, though.

@Newtons Apple If your going to ask this does affect my phone

Alex, you are driving yourself crazy again. Why can't you just relax and enjoy your iPhone?

This "bug" you found does not hurt the operation of your phone.

You might as well call Apple and see if they will replace another phone.

there dust under my camera lense and I the photo to show you

Call Apple and get it returned as you are not going to be happy.

I seriously suggest you to return your iPhone 7 as it seems to have been giving you tons of worry and trouble. Please stay with the seemingly bug free and great iPhone 6 and wait for next year to try your luck again.

It doesn't matter if it is out of warranty actually. I'd gladly stay on an older phone if it doesn't give any issue. Plus, your phone is one of the early batches which always suffer from some early adopter issues. Just use the iPhone 6 happily till it breaks, you never know if it'll last for another 3 years :apple:

I could do that or ask Apple to swap it and get a better a case

My dock doesn't flicker. But this is strictly software.

Try restoring from DFU mode and try a different computer.
A different computer will make a difference how? Stop feeding the OP false information.

DFU RESTORE and set up as new and see if the problem persists. If it does, restore from a previous backup to save yourself the trouble of setting up everything as new. Then either wait for 10.1 or try the public beta now and see if it's still there. If still unhappy, replace at an Apple Store.

Also the battery life is dying faster from 95% to 75% over night no apps opem and no apps logged in at all
