I'm obsessed with the latest and smallest (currently available iPhone). ;)

Of course me too in this way.

I’d better not be persuaded a couple of months from now...and back to my old ways...and hand-me down this new one to my mom. Which is what I’m doing with my current iPhone X, because she’s complaining her iPhone 6+ is laggy. This is one main reason why I’m no longer want to be in those groups ordering theirs in Sept (now maybe in Oct or later).

I have no idea why but I’m looking forward to getting this SE, which will function as a secondary device for me, much more than I was ahead of getting the XS and the 11Pro. I ordered it right when it became available yet I can’t stop watching YouTube videos about it.

I guess I just love Touch ID + the smallest possible form factor.

This is me. :)

Early yesterday morning, I preordered a 256GB black. I'm coming from a 64GB 5SE w/ no additional cloud storage, and I would tend to max. out the capacity of my phone due to neglected podcasts. Although, I deliberated throughout the day of whether or not 4x the storage of what I currently am used to was worth the $150 price jump. I buckled, cancelled my original order and placed another one for a 128GB white. This is typical of my purchasing habits which I'm usually satisfied. Also typical of my indecision, I incurred a kink in the form of a delay in shipment. The cancelled order was scheduled for 4/24 whereas my new order is now scheduled to arrive on 5/4-5/6. Oh well, I suppose it gives me more time with my beloved 5SE (in which I am definitely keeping as a collectible).

What you should have done was key the original order, test it to make sure you like it and then you could have ordered the 128GB and returned the other.

But if your not in a rush then I guess you’ll be fine I think the 128GB storage size and smaller price increase is the sweet spot.

Good advice on testing before committing to the device. It's likely the OS will be to my liking esp. with the speed upgrade I'll be experiencing. Also, there would be a good chance that I'd end up keeping the former as more storage is typically good as I anticipate not to upgrade until 5+ years. Honestly, I don't need all that storage as i have plenty of hard drives which remain unfilled. Lastly, I abhor the trouble and time of returning orders. Doing it right the first time works best for me; just wished I did it better.😉

The only drawback I anticipate is that I really do prefer the case of the 5SE down to the boxy shape. Anyway, I've come to terms that it will be a while before iPhones go back to my ideal size for a mobile phone. Also, constant use will adjust my brain to the feel of the new norm.

To comment on the white option, I think the black front bezel w/ white and silver back is striking and marks a clear distinction of this new version against previous models using the same chassis. I believe this to be true moreover than the visual departure of the back with the realignment of the logo. Truth be told, I immediately overlooked the white version when first looking into the phone as i typically go for black or Space Gray. Glad I gave it a second look...err, rather a look in the first place.

From experience, Apple's return process is so simple and easy. Compared to almost any other company. They give you a link, you organise the collection online, the driver even brings a label and gives you a receipt, and that's it. As soon as they have the device back, your refunded straight away. No chasing up, no phone calls and you can track the return. And the postage is paid by Apple.

That's exactly how I saw the new black front/white back model, it looks a lot cleaner in the line-up and is a nice contrast, something that back in the day a lot of people wanted. I was going to order it, but I always have Space Grey as well and all my cases are dark so wanted something that didn't stand out against the dark cases so went for black. Can't really go wrong with any of the colours IMO. All look great!

Decided on the red one with the black leather case. Never had a red phone before ever, but what the heck thought it might look nice with the black leather case, kinda 2-tone. Ordered today, delivery May 4th or 5th.

Ordered mine last night the 64GB in Black which is enough for me as don't game or use many apps, delivered by the 28th of April but I'm hoping I'll see it on the 24th fingers crossed if Curry's ship's out early.

Also ordered Spigen case & a decent screen protector that will be fitted soon as it comes out of the box, taking no risks with the screen just in case they scratch as easy as the iPhone 11 series do.

Currently have both iPhone 7 & Pixel 3a was originally hanging on for the Pixel 4a, but spec wise doesn't hold a candle to the iPhone SE 2020, so the Pixle 3a will be sold to cover some of the cost & the iPhone 7 will continue to be used as a backup.

Hi, I have ordered a iPhone se coming from a pixel 4 which I will sell , my question is while a bit odd I got to ask , will you lot that have ordered wiping the box and contents down with wipes to clean your phone before use I understand that apple has strict policys however the delivery firm may not , if so what you using ? Or am I just a bit paranoid maybe maybe

The chances of them being contaminated are slim, but it wouldn’t hurt to be sure. We still don’t know everything about the virus. Plus they’ve probably been ready to go for a while, and sat in warehouses etc for ages.

Yes that we agree upon been in warehouse for a while and now thinking about it maybe not the phone but the package would have been touched and delivered by a human which unfortunately is the weakest link , so any suggestions what to use In the UK we don’t have Clorox Disinfectant Wipes ? Thanks

Alcohol wipes. If you don't have those, then 70% isopropyl alcohol on lint-free cloth (microfiber or coffee filter works great).

To anyone in the UK who has pre-ordered the new SE, and want or need a new sim only deal, if you go to Top Cash Back then onto Three and buy their 12 month unlimited everything deal at £18 a month, you get £60 back so the monthly fee is only £13 for totally unlimited everything and you can use your phone abroad including the USA with no daily charge or anything (from past experience).

I love my 11 Pro, but couldn’t help but think if this was announced with the 11 Pro that I would’ve gone for the SE. i have small hands, and if this has the same processor and at this price point, no brainer.

In the absence of their host, viruses are unable to replicate and many are unable to survive for long in the extracellular environment. Therefore, if they cannot survive independently, can they be defined as being ‘alive’?

Unless the delivery person has sneezed on the package shortly before it arrives at your house, chances are low. If you are concerned, wash your hands immediately after opening and disposing of the shipping box. Any virus that might have been inside the box has long degraded when you get the package.

They should have covered their mouth with mask even during the stacking, unloading, and delivering. Let’s hope. We’re thinking too much are we.
