The more I think about it, the more I am concerned about the all-glass backs of the new iPhones. I don't use cases. I gotta see exactly how the new Pixels turn out before I commit. I know they'll have some glass on their backs, but it doesn't look like the entire back will be glass.

Highly disappointed by the delay for the X.

I'm still gonna shoot for the 256 via T-Mobike...
Is it true T-Mobile users are screwed by not getting LTE on the X? I read an article about this. Deal breaker if true.

If I get the X, I hope to have a wallpaper that'll black out the top and hide the notch on the home screen. I'm sure there will be a good amount of people wanting this.

Considering this is a one-off Anniversary phone, is it a reach to assume that the standard number model next year (8S or 9) will incorporate the design of the X at a non-premium price?
Or are we more likely to see a successor to the X at the same price point?

I know there's no way anyone can tell me this with certainty, but my hesitation on purchasing the X stems solely from the point above

I have owned every iPhone, so count me in. Just trying to decide between 64 or 256...Thinking of going with silver.

Yup the wait is painful--after suffering through the leaks

At first thought after the "Event" I was thinking NO---but now I still have a craving !

Does apple not allow to buy the iPhone X without carries? I don't see an option on their site.

Anyone?

I'd assume most of the technology/advancements in the X will be incorporated next year or the year after next into the standard models. Now that said, it would not suprise me to see a future premium model have other exclusive features, but I just don't see the ones in the X as features that do not trickle down.

Tad miffed about the delay, but I'd like to get my hands on a black one (still on the fence about storage). Shouldn't be a problem if the "nos" 'round here are an indicator.

I'm treating this as my chance to practice delayed gratification. Shouldn't be hard...right?

For $1000, Apple should have put Touch ID on the back. Hell, I would be more inclined to purchase if they had Touch ID version 1 on the back.

Its not the prettiest, but remember neither is the front notch.

No band 71 capability in the hardware.
Yes, that's what I read. So what does this mean, we will or won't have LTE? Also if we move over to AT&T after we pay off our iphone (X) from T-Mobile will this specific phone be missing internals that I would have had if I purchased through AT&T?

Same here (I think as of now) for my wife and I, can't wait! Upgrading from a 6 and 6+ both 64g

Maybe, I am still unsure since I have a 256b iPhone 7+ that is barley one year old but if Verizon gives a good trade ind deal then I will buy a X.
