Hey guys,

Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback so far, it's been really helpful. Here's what I'm leaning towards, after reading your suggestions:

There *will* be a grades on/off switch, and it will be per subject. That way, even if you are a student using the app, you'll still have some subjects that don't have anything to do with graded assignments. (Eg. reminders, work-related tasks, etc.)

In case you haven't heard, Apple is removing the ability of an app to read from another app's data. So, the Quick Tasks idea is dead at the moment. I'm going to try and find a way to include that option in the main app, as long as things don't get too cluttered.

Also, synchronization is still on its way. Pushing subjects from device to device is 99% finished, and works great. A more robust synchronization between device and Mac is about 25% finished, and I started working on it this past weekend. I'll keep you posted, again, thanks for all the help. :)

so weird, while i was sitting in my classes listening to the same ol first day of class syllabus talk from professors, that since so many professors refuse to use the technology the school provides to post grades and help us keep track of them online, it would be hella nice to have the grade feature on this app!

i never keep up with my grades which is probably why im never happy with my final grade at the end of the semester. iprocrastinate is going to make college life so much easier for me

lose info?

I apologize if this has been discussed in this thread already, but I have populated this app with a lot of information for school already. When an application is updated it seems that the "old" edition is deleted and a "new" one is loaded. Will this cause deletion of the information loaded in the app?

If so, is there a way to avoid this from happening? I've spent a lot of time entering in information and don't want to lose it.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you, I NEED Mac syncronization, my iPhone is too damn unreliable! I just got back from my first day of classes, and I used iProcrastinate to put in all my HW for this week, and my iphone just died 10 minutes ago. Stuck at Apple Logo, I want to replace my assignment notebook with this app but I can't if there's no Sync b/c my iPhone craps out on me too often :-/

Just to point out a few things I have seen so far.
I may have missed this but I noticed the auto-capitalization is not removed and the automatically begin editing new items is not there. Also I tried out the overdue tasks and when I deleted an overdue tasks, it still said I had an overdue task.

This is a great app!!!!

You have to turn on the auto task editing feature in the settings.

Great app here and even better with the update.

Oh and another thing (I love this app so much, i can't stop). Could it be possible to be able to set the default time of due date. for example, for every new task automatically be due the next weekday.
that'd be awesome

The update deleted all my data. I spent an hour straight putting in all the data. Until there is desktop syncing, I can't use this.

Hey guys:

Not sure what the deal with the data loss is. I updated mine from 1.0 to 1.1 and it was all still there, but if even one person is losing their stuff, it's an issue. I'll try and track it down, but since it didn't happen to me, it'll be a bit before I know where to start.

Sheesh. This is reason #174 Apple's submission process needs to be faster. Even if I fix it this morning, you guys won't get it until next week.

Hey update worked for me with no data loss.
Found a bug though.
Say something was due yesterday "1 overdue" both in subject and in smart group...
then I "get an extension" for another 4 days for example..
It is no longer overdue but I still have the 1 overdue message in subject and in smart group (which should only be for tasks 2 days from now according to my settings)

also... why is it called "Tasks" in the springboard if it's "iProcrastinate"

Thanks for the report, I'll get cracking. I've got a feeling another update will be out *very* soon.

Edit: And it's called "Tasks" because iProcrastinate ends up looking like "iPro..ate" :)

small bug

When you edit a due date there is no button to go back, it still works if you press the right area, but it doesn't show anything.

Update worked fine for me, not data loss.

awesome

awesome app. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen. But when you try and edit the main options and scroll down. The options go back to default unless I click done on each one before moving on.

Could you be more specific? You're editing the due date for a task, and there's no button in the upper-left corner of the screen to go back? What is the right area that works?

It's a very cool app, but I find the way the 'edit' and 'done' buttons move whenever you exit the settings panel very annoying, and looks really unslick.

While updating this app, all of my previous information got deleted :(

It's alright though, I still love the app. Keep up the good work! Thanks.
