Seriously, enough already. Navigation on an Android phone by voice using Google Maps doesn't meet your needs, we get it. It more than meets the needs of countless others. What else exactly are you trying to prove at this point?

If you scroll up, someone asked me to post a video. So I did. I am not glued to this forum to respond immediately. But I responded. If you do not like it, then put me on your ignore list.

Ok, well it's not working on mine for some reason, here I can show you.
I didn't show the actual card because it is a real person with real numbers and address, but he has 3 telephone numbers, 1 email, and 1 physical address.

Also kinda funny how your video was the first to show up in the Google search.

Edit: what's weird is I just created a fake contact and it worked. So, like MRU, I have no idea why it works on some and not others.

As I said, it is inconsistent. On my brother's LG G4 there is one address that hands free navigation always works on, but on all the other addresses it does not work. As I showed in my video, on my HTC M7 GPE with 5.1 it does not work at all. So strange, how it works in some cases but not the others.

For those who asked. Here is my HTC M7 GPe unable to navigate hands free to an address from my contacts. It is on Android version 5.1. I will get you another video from the LG G4 when I have access to it. It belongs to my brother.

What happens when you say "Navigate to name, home"?

I would assume, since it brought up the contact card, it would automatically navigate if you stated home.

Or maybe the address is entered incorrectly. There is enough video proof to show this works for most of us.
At this point..... This poor horse is deceased and still being a abused.

So after all the back and forth you had not learn anything. We said to say navigate to 'X' home. You still left out the home part in your example. So it proves nothing. It may still not work for you when you do say home. However if you're going to illustrate something, do it right please.

Some tried the home part and it did not work for them. I finally caught up on the whole thread.

It did not work for Fernandez.

I used the word "home." Did not make a difference.

And here is my iPhone 6s Plus navigating to the same address.

Well it might work for you. I tried adding a random contact and saving a random address for that contact and it works for me still. Not sure why it doesn't work for others. But it works with any and every contact for me.

I'm not apart of this, who's right or wrong argument. But there has to be an legit explanation of why it works for some and not others.

Being that said, the software UI (especially when it pulls up the contact card) doesn't look like the newest version. Not sure if that makes a differ.

But can you or anybody else that it's failed for tell me the version number for the Google app and what Android version they are on?

Or can also be a manufacture skin issue?

That is why I said it is INCONSISTENT. It works for some, but not for others. I am not lying and neither are you. We are both correct. The term inconsistent applies here.

I am running Android 5.1. The GPE M7 will not get 6.0. I will do a video once I get access to my brother's LG G4 on Android 6.0. I will post that too.

I have 5.11.33.19 and mine works. Hopefully this can give us insight on whose is working and whose isn't.
Mine says 5.10.32.19.arm64. It's not showing any updates in the play store. This is on my S7 Edge on MM 6.0.1

hmm I am using a 6p. Perhaps Nexus devices gets the newer version first? Either way atleast it is working on both versions.
I have 4 Android phones in the house. S7, N5, 6P, Mate 8 and it works on all 4 of them.

Video of the same concept renders we've seen of the iPhone 7.

Looks believable that this or something close to this will be the design. Not thrilled about it if it looks like this. Less antenna lines are good but overall design is still, in my opinion, weak. What's left of the antenna lines still bother me. They frame the device in an odd and kind of cheesy way.

It's just an overall uninspiring design, if accurate.

I was never a fan of the 6/6S generation design. Always thought it was the ugliest iPhone to date. The iPhone 7 renders improves on it, but not by much.

Honestly, even something as simple as making the antenna lines a similar color to each device's color would help hide them a bit more. The space gray, for example, is the least offensive because the lines are more subtle. Not by much, but still better than white against say Rose Gold.

I also tried on other devices, such as the Nexus 7 (2013), Note 2, Note 4, and S4. They all work 90% of the time. The other 10% occasionally brings me to search. The Note 2 and S4 is custom firmware though.

One other thing to note is all of my contacts are in Google along with my calendar. Not sure if that makes a difference or not....

I too thought about that. I tried creating contacts and selecting "on device" instead of linking it to my google account. It still worked without an issue.
