Anyone cash out on DMR yet? They don't really have anything great other than Up and Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Guess I won't hold my breath for a Force Awakens Blu-ray since they don't even have older Marvel movies up yet. Would be great if they had Phase 1 digital copies for redemption.

I've cashed in about 6K of my points for John Carter, Jungle Book 2 and some Muppet Movie. All bluray with codes. It was slim pickings though.

Hello everyone!

My name is Nick Becvar, and I own Fast Flicks (www.thefastflicks.com). I noticed a sudden surge of referrals to my site from this thread, so I thought I would come browse and check it out. I have seen a lot of you place orders, and just wanted to say thank you all! I am glad that your eyes have been opened to the world of cheap iTunes digital movie codes. :)

Fast Flicks frequently stocks new movies; if you click Just Added at the top of the website, you can see our most recent additions (the movies at the top are the latest added!) Additionally, we get new releases in stock generally the Thursday or Friday before the scheduled Tuesday release date. We typically do preorders for the new movies coming (up now is Ted 2, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, and Maze Runner Scorch Trials) and send that Friday or Saturday. Do keep in mind that not all movies have an iTunes code, so you may not see a new release with that option (all 3 of the mentioned movies happen to have one this time!)

Customer service is my absolute #1 priority. If any of you ever has an issue with an order, any questions, or even requests for a certain movie, please do not hesitate to contact me via email (support at thefastflicks dot com) and I will be happy to help in any way I can.

Thanks everyone!

FYI, anyone who pre-ordered MI: Rogue Nation at $19.99, it is now $17.99 so I just got my order adjusted.

Tim Hughes will have his full codes on Friday for $4.99.

Oh believe me, I'd very much rather spend a few bucks to buy a code than making a small profit by going through the hassle of buying a Blu-ray and selling the codes/discs that I don't want.

But just for this specific case I went with BB because they gave an extra pre-order bonus UV code and a $5 reward certificate (in addition to the regular UV, iTunes, and Google codes).

I'm looking forward to being lazy and just buying a code for Ted 2.

Anyone here buy Star Wars? I read there is zero to no chance that codes would be released with Blu-ray collections because Fox owns the physical distribution rights until 2020 and Disney owns the digital distribution rights. Not to mention, Fox owns the distribution rights to A New Hope for eternity (the other 5 films will revert to Disney in 2020).

Not sure whether to jump on the collection which is on sale for $90 right now.

I just today bit the bullet and bought the collection. I wanted them so my son and I can watch them all before next week. I bought $100 in Vudu credits for $57. That got me all 6 in Vudu and the 5 that are DMA. Then I used my iTunes balance which I got for 25% off to buy A New Hope for iTunes - yes I'm obsessive like that. :p

I figure all told I spent $72.

I'm not sure we'll see codes anytime soon like you said.

Still holding out hope that Disney comes through with re-issues of the original Trilogy at some point. Han shoots first - ALWAYS!

If this happens, I hope they come to their senses and release these as iTunes Extras content and not another digital set.

LOL not likely right! It's still Disney and they are still a big giant company.

What they should have done when the just released the digital collection for the first time is do like what Fox did for X-Men Days of Future Past - The Rogue Cut. You get that version, but you also get the theatrical version as well.

Best thing to happen to Star Wars was getting it away from Lucas!

Bit the bullet on Star Wars. I am sitting on nearly $250 worth of iTunes credit that I've accumulated over a few years and now that I'm into the whole code scene, it will take me even longer to spend it. And if Marvel releases are anything to go by, Disney does not discount digital movies very often.

I'd go the Vudu route but I read some post on the Google forums to choose your purchases wisely because the Vudu credits are not unlimited.

Yeah, you have to download the spreadsheet and keep track of what prefixes you use because they are limited. Can be a great deal especially since you are saving almost 50%. The rare 25% iTunes money only comes like once a year. I stocked up on that a few months back.

Time for a Star Wars marathon before next week!

Bit the bullet and bought Iron Man.

I've got the Ant-Man steelbook coming from the US and I'll use the DMA from that so that's the MCU complete now.

Will grab MI:RN and Maze Runner 2 on Friday when the codes are released and prices drop.

Nice. I still need Iron Man 1, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger.

Said the hell with it and almost ordered those 4 along with Star Wars but backed out at the last minute. Holding out hope that Disney merges the Paramount XML movies with their DMA line so they get iTunes Extras

XML Disney movies are added to your DMA account. And they redeem in HD.

There is no code for Iron Man 1. That you will have to buy. If you find Vudu credits at 50%, you can get it for $10.

Agreed but the XML isn't the Disney distributed iTunes copy so it doesn't have the iTunes Extras no? For example, if you look up Thor 1 in iTunes, does it give you an iCloud download icon or a price? The XML is associated with the Paramount distributed release.

Yeah, some of the older titles you won't get extras in iTunes. My Iron Man 2 and Captain America 1 are like that. They are in the cloud but no extras in iTunes.

All titles will be added to DMA, and you do get the extras on the DMA site or through the DMA app iOS (and if you have a Roku there is a DMA app on it as well). But yeah in iTunes it's mapping to the older title.

If I had known about Vudu credits back then, I would have just bought them with credits and gotten the full movie, extras and DMR. In the end for some of those older titles I paid close to $10 anyway.

If TIH, IM2, CA:TFA and Thor ever get extras added to them then awesome but it's not a major deal for me either way.

The extras for the XML versions can be watched in the DMA app fwiw.

Yeah same here. We ended up just watching on the computer the extras for those movies. We typically only watch them once anyway.

Pixar XML's will include the extras.

Did anyone get Ted 2 Unrated yet? The code that comes with the Ted 1 Unrated Blu-ray is mapped to the R rated version in iTunes so unfortunately you can't have a matching set of Unrated versions.

Is there specific sites for codes?

Check the first page of this thread for the Google links and you can also buy from the Blu-ray trading forums.

I just found out about this a month ago, and have been going nuts. lol. It makes increasing your collection much easier. Google + communities have a few places that are very active. This is the best and largest one. Blu-ray Forum also has a section for codes and physical media. Some of the top code stores are located here.

FYI Here is the breakdown of the terms.

DMA = Disney Movies Anywhere (the movies connect to iTunes, UV, VUDU, Amazon, Google and Microsoft movies sites)
DMR = Disney Movie Rewards ( You get points for redeeming disney movies to be user for other movies or items)
DC+ = Digital Copy Plus (Just the Disney movie, not the points)
XML = A workaround need for this code, SD only except for Disney movies
UV = Ultra Violet codes, won't work with iTunes
HO = Send user a Hang Out Chat
How does the XML thing work, thinking about buying a code for Thor but is says XML required. Since it is A marvel movie so I assume Disney and that it is HD
