I have to wonder now if they just told me "FedEx just picked it up" in order to get me off the phone. I'm still in processing, no change. Regretting having not bought on the little BestBuy window that opened up last night. Stupid Verizon.
I'll be calling them again today when I get to work and demanding either a tracking number or doing a chargeback since my card has already been charged.

Just called about my second order and she said she didn't understand why mine didn't ship. She pushed a ticket through to find out what's going on and is going to call me back
Just called and was told both my orders left the warehouse to FedEx a little bit ago and I'll get the tracking info later today. Still expected to arrive tomorrow. Will believe it when I see it.

Wow really? That's a terrible excuse for them to use.
I'm in the same boat as you guys. Got told yesterday morning it shipped, but still no update or tracking information this morning. It's really dreadful on the part of Verizon to lie to get people off the phone. Currently they are e-mailing the warehouse and will get back to me. Does your order status page reflect this? Mine still says processing with expected ship date of 12/19. I ordered Monday with 2 day shipping and my card has been charged so I'm hoping for good news.
Mine too. Processing. The only way I can pull it up is with the order number and location code, which I got from a rep on the phone - my e-mail didn't include a location code.
Check FedEx delivery manager. I just logged in and noticed that this morning, a label was created from Verizon with overnight shipping. I ordered Monday night at 10:30EST and even though I was told they were out of stock, the shipping label creation makes me think they're actually coming tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Nothing on FedEx delivery manager or UPS my choice for me. Will also do a chargeback if there's no tracking by the 22nd which would be 2 days from when I ordered.
UPDATE- within the last few minutes my order has been marked shipped on Verizon's website and a tracking number provided. Delivery scheduled for tomorrow.

Just checked verizon page for order status again. Finally updated with tracking number! I'm guessing if your card has been charged...they are shipping, just slow to update site apparently.
My husband texted me on the way to work and told me the Verizon pending charge settled, so I was definitely charged for the AirPods. I was all set to come into work in a huff and give them an angry call, and I updated my order status just before dialing, and it's a Christmas Miracle -- I have a tracking number!
Still set to ship tomorrow by 8pm -- so we'll see. Just glad to finally see some movement. If I had a nickel for every time I refreshed that order status page, the AirPods would've been free.

My order was picked up yesterday morning in Memphis, TN, but still hasn't moved anywhere. It finally updated this morning with "Arrived at FedEx facility" in Memphis, TN. Still says delivered by tomorrow at 8pm, but I'm not going to believe it until I see it start moving.
Ours must be on the same truck - I have the exact same updates as you.

FWIW, I've been following this thread. I ordered from Verizon Monday night and chase declined the transaction for fraud protection. Finished payment Tuesday morning. Had selected two day ship. Has been showing processing the entire time with a 12/20 expected ship date.
Status just updated with shipped, tracking number, scheduled delivery tomorrow by 8:00 PM.
For the two-day shippers with a pending charge, be patient. It'll likely come.
Another edit: still no email for shipping.
Well, I went to the FedEx depot this morning... and the package was being moved from the one truck to the other truck and until it was off the conveyor belt, they could not pull it. The gentlemen said he was not sure how long it would take, so I could wait. He assured me that it would be delivered today. He was surprised that it was not delivered yesterday and there were no notes indicating why they were not. Not too happy with FedEx at the moment.
It seems like fedex in our area gives you about 3 nanoseconds to get to the door for a signature required package. When you don't make it, there are zero chances for redelivery same day and it's a drive across town for the item. As I usually plan to have myself or wife home when delivery is expected, when it is missed I end up driving to get it rather than plan out another whole day. Annoying.
Never this issue with UPS.
