Congrats on your new Watch and Happy Belated Birthday to You!
We should be seeing different ML styles (mesh design wise) for what I've been hearing from Freedomoclock. I pretty much have him on speed dial now.

Thank you!

That's awesome about different ML styles coming. I have lymphedema in my watch arm, and while it's pretty mild, I need bands that can be easily and quickly adjusted. Which means link styles don't really work for me.
Right now I'm trying to decide between the MoKo sport bands and the ones offered by Inkoo on eBay. Because I. Need. All. The. Colors. (And someone better make a purple sport band soon!)

What do you think of this interchangeable adapter - would it be as easy to change bands as the regular style adapters? http://www.clockworksynergy.com/shop/apple-adapters/interchangeale-adapter-for-apple-watch/ ...My fingers have a bit of a hard time with some things, like jar lids, sometimes.
Or you could just buy the adapters on their own through eBay here no strap purchase required and it's free shipping. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=111708241824&globalID=EBAY-US

I usually get anything I want that is Apple for my birthday with no qualms. Also its our 10th anniversary so I can't complain since he just upgraded my wedding set. Which one did you order?

I also have lymphedema. Fortunately not in my watch arm. However, the loop bands are ideal for this! You can adjust them all day if you want/need, and you can get the Milanese loop style or the leather loop style. I like them so much better than any kind of buckle now.

Ours is on Feb 15th so I got a new Mac and well, now I'm just waiting for this green modern buckle to make its debut so I can get it.
Might get the soft pink next week for my birthday.

Just canceled my order for the brown modern buckle. Why???

Well my band just showed up as available for in-store pickup near me (San Jose). Inventory seems pretty fluid right now so if you are interested in an in-store pick up, keep checking or give your store a call. At $250 a pop I doubt these things are flying off the shelves :)

Way back in April when I had my initial try-on of the Apple watch, one of the bands I tried on was the Modern Buckle one, and frankly, I wasn't enthused. The leather seemed stiff and rather thin and I didn't care for how the buckle worked because it seemed a bit fiddly and as though it would easily slip out of the leather. Anyway, that was my initial impression and I haven't really paid attention since. Maybe the leather softens up with use and the buckle hardware doesn't slip out of the leather.....now that people are actually finally going to be getting the thing and wearing it, I guess we will find out!

I too tried it on as soon as they had in-store try-ons and I really liked it. Although I'll admit it was thin. Now I'm used to the sports band so it is very possible I'll be shocked/unhappy when I pick-up the modern buckle tomorrow. But I want a dressier band and I really didn't care for the classic band I bought and returned (I just don't love any leather band with the "classic" style buckle....it felt ordinary to *me* and I'm not crazy about the bulge it creates).

That's what's fun...different tastes. I hope the watch succeeds and we get lots of band choices. I can hardly afford a wardrobe of $250 bands so we need well made but more affordable options. Although...maybe....you know that blue modern buckle is gorgeous . Aggggghhhh!

Hmmm, I didn't realize they made one in green. I wonder what shade of green it will by IRL.

Well, for what I've seen its just a rendering from iLuvvItt and I've looked for this one literally everywhere with no avail. So hopefully when the third party market starts bringing a clone for the Modern Buckle, I'll definitely be all over all the colors! But if there's a green one, you bet that'll be the first I'll buy following a purple and maybe a white one.

Ooooo. I already ordered the modern buckle. I hope your wrong Clix Pix, cause now I'm anxious about it. I don't want to constantly worry it's going to fall off & plummet to the ground every minute..

When I tried it on (for all of a minute), it felt very secure. The good news is that I haven't found any reports of the buckle coming apart unexpectedly (of course as Clix Pix points out there aren't that many of them out there in use either). I'll let you know if I run into trouble, but I think we'll be fine :)
