Spammed how? Me spamming or who? Because if others have, I honestly haven't noticed as I have the tendency of ignoring such posts, but if it's me in all honesty, it's the second time (maybe) that I mention what's coming from SwitchEasy.

I didn't mean to offend. It's just that one post goes on and on and on and on with photos directly from the manufacturers site, rather than ones you've taken from a collection.

I'd love to figure out how to post or link pics I could scale down here. There seems to be different ways to attach them.

So Jmona's post was massive because of all the large pics, but it was also super informative. You surely can't expect everyone to buy all the combinations before posting? I didn't see that requirement in this thread which by the way, was started by Jmona!

Maybe what you wanted was more curation or summary, and more first hand experience and reviews. I'm sure you'd find those in relevant threads.

I didn't mean to offend. It's just that one post goes on and on and on and on with photos directly from the manufacturers site, rather than ones you've taken from a collection.

All images where explicitly taken from Google. If you make a search for google images search for apple watch case here:
https://www.google.com/search?q=app...ChMIvcq0lIq-xwIVj4uSCh1ApgJN&biw=1280&bih=671
If I would've taken images directly from manufacturers, I would've quoted each and every single site which I'm not sure if you noticed but I didn't refer any links except for one or two because of memory.
I've provided names and prices at the top of my head and where can you find them cheaper, as well as other generic products with no branding.

What is the purpose of the thread if it isn't to inform on other products?
I feel real bad that you think I'm "spamming" for it isn't my intention and if anything I'm excited to see what everyone thinks about this other products.

I'm NOT endorsing anyone.
I work with SwitchEasy PR and I haven't even so much as posted one single review on their products for the same reason you're here accusing me of doing.
I've abstained from saying anything or posting any real photos of SwitchEasy products because one, it isn't my nature to advertise.
As a professional it's my duty to talk about everything and not give you my biased opinion on one company alone when there's so many others that work just as well and trust me, coming from someone who is directly related to one of Apple's Co-founders that is A LOT to say.

Again, I apologize if this offends you or anyone for that matter for when I created this thread was with the sole purpose to help other women whom like me share a passion for this devices, women whom often are criticized for being tech geeks, or enthusiasts since this is a world driven mostly by men and sometimes even men don't like it when women partake in this new found era of technology.
I'm sorry for causing anyone for that matter, such distress.
Again if you'd like to, please click the links and see if I really had the time to make you a list of over 100 items because I had the time to actually talk to said manufacturers (on my birthday mind you as of I've had the time when all I was doing was simply having fun sharing interesting stuff I found online much like you Allie have done so in the past, when I'm only simply trying to help no less than what you have or anyone else in the thread or forums as a whole for that matter. Considering this is the reason why this thread was created for.
If you want to see spam, I bid you to please look at the NON OEM and third party bands threads where you'll find several people advertising for them selves, their companies and even one certain guy whom all he does is post links to his review sites on IG, Twitter or YT.
I've been reviewing for so long I even doubt you know who I am and I can tell you this.
I have a reputation for giving my unbiased opinion on things. If I don't like one item I still don't bash it. Why? Because what doesn't work for me could very well work for someone else. But if I believe the product isn't worth the money, you will also get my honest opinion because ultimately when you're in a budget, you also want to be able to make the correct investment on something that will work for you in the long run putting in to consideration the amount of money yore already investing.
I've worked with at least 200 companies none of which I've mentioned here excluding SwitchEasy since I've been getting personal messages in regards of what's coming so to to give an update I posted about the bands but no more and no less.

Again I'm really sorry Allie. I truly am and I'm sorry if it looks like I'm spamming. I promise you I stayed up for hours last night since I couldn't sleep because of treatment I got yesterday (way to spend my birthday btw sick, which you know how it goes) and to keep me from thinking of the the awfulness of how I'm feeling at the moment I turned it in to something positive but never for once I imagined it would bother anyone.
So again I'm so very very sorry, and I hope you can sincerely understand where I'm coming from and note that I'm not angry. I'm just simply explaining why of my post and it has NOTHING to do with advertising whatsoever.
If I didn't love this thread I wouldn't be making an effort to help others.

Also thanks to everyone who was so amazing and sent me emails and personal messages or acknowledgements here on the forums in lieu of my birthday. You guys rock!!!

Also for reference, this is what I would've loved this page to become. My tread for iPhone 3G cases back in '08 had hundreds of thousands of views and nearly 200,000 followers because it actually helped people on HoFo. Here's my thread and notice I'm doing here what we all did there as I started the thread.

http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...ad/?s=249aac207bb08dd70213311987af203f&page=1

Edit:
If mods deem this out of the rules of the forums please remove. Thanks

Has any of you seen these? They look interesting. I'm ordering one to see how are they. Only thing I don't like is the huge gap on the bezel side.

I'm getting an apple watch soon and I personally found your post on the cases vey informative! I love seeing what's out there without having to go to every manufacturers website

If I have any extra freebies, I'll give you both a heads up so I can send you and extra something if I have something extra to share. I've got so much stuff coming nowadays I'm always sharing. As long as it's a 38mm watch of course. :)
I'll let you both know once I have a loot to give away.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen.
Since we're now entering the subject of Apple Watch Cases, I've compiled a good amount of pictures to contribute to the thread.
Mind you I know many are against casing your wearable device. However, if you're like me and would like to protect your watch regardless of if it is a Sport or just Apple Watch, here's a few options I've found.

First, and foremost, I love SwitchEasy.
Not only because they have great products but because the materials they use is a different type of industrial grade TPU and Silicone in most cases. The kind that is soft to the touch but when it falls and hits ground it hardens making it shock resistant.
Mostly on iPhone cases, iPad, iPod and some Android Devices as well.
However; they just launched the COLORS line for Apple Watch. If you're a fan, then you'll know that one of their most famous and innovative cases since 2005 has been COLORS for iPhone. A case made solely of Silicone which is soft to the touch but adds a great grip to your devices and known for having what it's called a "Jelly Bean" home button.
They created the same for Apple Watch and it can be found here at http://www.switcheasy.com/
Here's some images:

Another line of cases that look interesting but also here in the forums I've read some people are having problems with scratches (not everyone since everyone's wear and tear is always different) are the Spigen Series for Apple Watch and some follow on their site but mind you for the tougher series I believe they don't make them available for 38mm adopters so keep this in mind and some have not only the removable face place on top of the TPU case but an extra crystal shield for screen protection which would come in handy for some and prices vary from $14-24.99 I believe (but I stand corrected if wrong, so for more info check their site!):

Poetic has some really cool looking cases as well that you can either find on Amazon, their website at Poeticcase.com or eBay for $5.99 for 38mm or $8.99 for 42mm with free shipping.
Here's some options to consider and a band that is a full body case as well that costs about $24.99

It'll cost you a pretty penny considering it's only a number but it adds a level of protection to your Watch's Bezel and it can be found either on eBay, Amazon, their website or if convenient you can also run in to your local BestBuy and pick one up for about $29.99 + tax:

"Insert as thumbnail." You get a choice between inserting as a thumbnail (nice and small) or full size (takes up a screen).

I'd have rather she do a reviewer thing and posted a quick description and the link. With or without a thumbnail.

See above. Since you were just sharing new finds without any opinions. You have to admit it was a longass post.

Hey Alli no foul. I just noticed about the E. Autocorrect is a major b*tch. I hate it. I have a friend named Allie whom I talk to on the daily basis so spell check must have done its own thing.
Sorry about that.

When you say you rather have me do a quick description, post a link or do a review, this contradicts what you said before that I was posting links and pointing to manufacturers for advertising purposes.

People come here mainly because of PICTURES. They want to SEE a products before researching. If something is aesthetically good looking for some more than obviously they'll take the time to research it on their own.

Now. When you said that it was an longass post I'm sorry. I never for once promised on the header of the thread it would be a review thread since I review outside of MacRumors for BIG companies.
I am trying to keep the two separate as a professional for 2 reasons.
I don't want to even mention my own sites so I'm very happy to leave those out of the picture for when I created the thread was for everyone but ladies specifically to share their opinions and mine and not with the object to generate revenue from people watching my videos or any other related issues that go hand and hand with the aforementioned.

What I did say from post one, it was to mention what options where out there for all intents and purposes such as cases, screen protectors, bands, docks, you name it. Anything that hits the nail.
If it ain't your cup of tea it's maybe because you're in to coffee. Why deny it? So am I.

It was a long post.
I intended for it to be specifically with the pictures, as mentioned fm before, I've been doing this long enough to know one of the reasons people come to forums like this is for pictures, but never for once I imagined it would cross you.
I'm just posting stuff like everyone else. Much like you do.
I don't need anyone's validation. When you have one of the 2 co-founders of Apple and one of their Executive Chiefs' validation, no one else's is needed. I'm very happy with that.

People come here everyday trying to see what's new on the ladies thread when it comes to options not just for us ladies but everyone since a lot of things get overlooked in other threads hence "the great strap band thread" "Docks only" "non OEM" thread and so on, yet because not many like cases they've left those out whilst I'm including anything and everything.
So I wanted to diversify things a little and that was the premise. Again, sorry for have caused distress. I'm glad that you too have gotten to be an editor or whatever for so long. That's awesome.

As a Journalist I know what it's like to take the heat but there again, when it was a post about cool stuff out there, I never for once thought it would be perceived other than what it was for; which was merely a contribution much like yours and everyone else.
I hope this clears the air and we can finally move on to something else.

I'm just trying to do good by everyone but sadly most people won't see it that way and that is absolutely fine as long.
As we keep it respectful and cordial, is all that matters and I'll be happy much like you or everyone here and agree to disagree.
It's a free and open forum so opinions will often diversify and clash, what the heck, that's what makes the world go'round.

Hey guys!
I got this really cool Wooden Cube for my Watch by WooDesigners from Etsy for $49.00, and it's actually REALLY nice.
I'm so in love with it I'm giving all my docks away, keeping this one and I'm also giving one of these away. Which I'll post details of the giveaway on YT later.

Anyways. It's made of Walnut and Maple Woods with a wooden button that comes off to allow integrating the charging button in the face for charging. What I like about it most is that it's versatile and the cable management is good allowing room for the cable to go in straight from the face so it doesn't bent backwards or inwards with a wide gap to allow the exit of the cable seamlessly, for it to be put in to the a/c adapter, and also once Watch OS2.0 is released; you'll be able to use it on Night Stand Mode.

I think of all of the Charging Stations I've seen, this is by far one of my favorites IF not my most favorite of them all.
It'll set you back for the price but you're getting what you're paying for which is a real good quality Cube Dock that'll last you years which in the long run it is a great investment specially when it's for your Watch which you'll want only best quality products. Also there isn't any metal or magnetic attachments in to the dock which could potentially interfere with the watch whatsoever.
I believe comes in other colors but this one caught my eye. It's elegant, simple and great quality for the price.
I can also verify that you can fit the Apple Watch wearing the Link Band or any other band in the round face of the cube.
Let me add the designers Tom and Scott were very gracious to work with me. I simply never expected such high quality from this cube to be honest and to hold it, see the weigh and the quality, I'm completely mind blown!

For more info, I got it from www.etsy.com/shop/woodesigners
Here's some photos!

Thank you!

YAY! I really like the Midnight Blue official one I just bought but I really do think it is priced way too high. I can't spend another $249 for an additional color. I may go for the brown, but it looks like it may not be in stock yet.

I finally have two more bands en route: a black mesh loop and the "bohemian" leather loop. Very excited about both. I finally forced myself to change bands this week. I love my red leather loop, but it just doesn't go with everything, so I'm back to the pink and black until the new ones arrive.

I didn't mean to offend. It's just that one post goes on and on and on and on with photos directly from the manufacturers site, rather than ones you've taken from a collection.

And on the flip side of that, I love it. I love seeing all the pictures & where to buy them from.. I appreciate all your posts Jmona & have actually bought things from hers & others recommendations...
I haven't noticed any spamming at al. Please keep up the ideas.. Some love it .

A Poetic Watch cover mysteriously appeared in my mailbox this afternoon.

It's not bulky, and stays on well. No color, although it's not crystal clear, more of an opaque. Perfect cutouts for the power button and and digital crown. Unless you look closely, you really don't notice it. I imagine it's good protection against knocks (like when I bang the side of the watch against the dryer every time I do laundry!).

It also came with a screen protector, although I didn't install it...since I'm still not sure where it came from and may have to return it. I think I'll leave it on until the mystery is solved though. I could get used to it!

Doesn't look too bad but I wonder what it would look like in black?
