The magnetic closure is strong, so it's not going anywhere. Feels just like my red LL. Does not protrude from the locks, or if it does it is not noticeable visually or by touch.

Definitely noticing a trend though. I'm sure this is the same box my last two bands came in.

Those look fantastic! I was going to ask you today if you had received it yet but I thought since coming form overseas I'll wait a day or two to ask! :D

Also for the Vegan Bands on eBay, I'm trying to convince the seller to create a discount code for us, and things are looking great! I don't have a ton of bands (yet, lol!) so I'm just using this little box I got in Hawaii that I keep next to my daily-wear jewelry. My Misfit Flashes are in there right now, too, though I'll probably move them at some point so I have more space for bands. I did buy the Apple ML as a gift to myself. (Three years cancer-free today!)

I was thinking about going to Hobby Lobby tomorrow granted I feel better then, and I'll take photos and report back what I find. Sometimes they have really cheap DIY cases you can customize and I figure I'll have my boys make another one like the first Watch Charging Chest they made for me. I'll let you all know what I find!

Okay ladies, I showed a couple of pictures of the modern buckle I received (post 432 in this thread) on another thread (not duplicate of the one I posted here). Someone made the comment "almost counterfeit quality?". I hadn't considered that, but it does raise the question - what is the difference between 1:1 clone and counterfeit?

A counterfeit would try to pass itself off as a genuine Apple product, complete with Apple name and logo if that applies. A 1:1 clone represents itself as a perfect copy, but not the real thing. Just a layman's opinion -- a patent lawyer may disagree.

NO. 15 has a funky but very enticing look. Is it a purple grey or something else?

That was me. I mentioned "counterfeit quality" as not only does the band and adapters look the same, they even have the same markings on the inside of the straps, in precisely the same location. The only difference with counterfeit luxury watches is there's usually a logo on the clasps, but of course the Apple ones are "clean".

The "true" 1:1 like the Link Bracelet will likely be in the same boat, but I haven't seen one yet - at least not to Apple's standards. I also replied in another thread people should not expect poor quality "cloned" items coming out of China. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference of LV bags, Rolex, TAG Heuer watches from over 20 years ago. It's just that we may finally see manufacturing skills from those type of goods to crossover to the tech sector now that Apple has entered the luxury domain.

Just wait till the day you could no longer be certain if someone's Edition in gold is the real or not!

So. I've got my Healing Shields and they look great. Since when I asked AllieFlowers she said they had a white background, I almost canceled my order. However I received my shields today and I'm very pleased to say the one I ordered just to try out, is GREAT! Here's some photos and sorry I couldn't do a better job since it was hard to take a flash photo without washing out the detail so instead I took them all with no flaws, so forgive the darkness!
To say I love the look it gives my watch, is the understatement of the year. I'll be buying other colors for sure but for now, this one is my favorite! Got them here.

Can anyone find a knock off modern buckle in a large that looks like a modern buckle from Apple? All I find on eBay are s and m
 
Got my adapters and generic pink 22mm leather band in. The quality of the band is meh, but I guess that is what I get for $15, LOL. It is very stiff, so I am working on breaking it in. I bought the Luvit adapters and they are OK. A little loose in the socket, but they seem to work. They are shiny metal vs the brushed aluminum. Overall, I am pleased - it makes for a nice change from the standard bands!

It took maybe 2 minutes all together. Took more time to clean the watch before applying it. Great buy over all. I'm going for Blue next but, 2 of the same skins come with the pack.
