I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I had read the whole thread prior to getting my 38 mm rose gold apple watch sport last week. I have tiny wrists for my height 138 mm and I sm 5'9 with a size 9 shoe! It is like I got the wrong hands for my body. But the 38 mm seems to be just the right size. And the small band actually fit ! I wanted to thank folks since it gave me some places to track down new bands that are on the way from ebay. Mainly the vegan PU / fake leather bands in many colors. I am vegan so that was a perfect find! I also yesterday was able to swap out my launch day 6s Plus 128 in silver for a 6s plus 128 in rose gold. Can't wait for the new bands to arrive but I do love the band it came with.

Also wondering if anyone has found metal bands that match the rose gold? Loop or link knock offs but with the right color tone for the sport rose gold?
 
Are you guys wearing other bracelets with your AW? What type? I'm afraid of other metal bracelets scratching my space grey.

That's sort of the problem with Apple's version of rose gold... Most other rose gold things are more copper

I do but have SS version. I wear Hermés bangles and others. Never been an issue for me.

Love that bangle. I have a similar one from Giles and Brother that I haven't worn since getting the watch. I was too scared of scratches

My casetify band arrived... Finally! :D

The print isn't perfect as it has a few random dots on it but nothing major. It's a little blurry but I was expecting that anyway :) I was thinking the band will be white on the inner side however (without realising this was an option) I ordered a silver/ slightly transparent band which blends in nicely with the design as it's mostly grey.

I'll need to swap out the adapters as they are more suited for a silver aluminum case.

Here are some pictures :) sorry they aren't great, I haven't found a nice way to get a picture of the watch XD

Thanks for sharing and glad you are happy with it! Looks like they've improved production from the early bands people posted. How long did it take you to get yours from order to delivery?

I don't remember them offering band material colors. That's nice. Any chance we can see a photo from the side of the band too? Since I know the design is printed on the band, I'll be curious to see how the band holds up to getting scratched, scuffed and cleaned. Please give us an update down the road. The appeal of customizing a band is definitely there.

Been lurking some, and this time I thought I'd share. I have apparently turned into a Strapaholic like some of you here :). A couple of my latest loot is from Amazon-- the Reiga leather band for my 42mm sport. Great quality, and I like that the stitches add character to the watch. I liked it so much I ordered a third (dark brown) one.

It would appear that they have changed since the early bands which is good. It felt like it took ages. :p I ordered on 24th September and arrived 16th October :)

After checking there is no option for a white inner side band so maybe they changed the old band for a newer design which is probably a good thing :) I'll be sure to get those pictures for you, right now I'm away from home so didn't bring all my bands :( I'll be sure to update again when I start noticing any scratches, how it affects the print and be sure to take pictures of it too :) so far though I think the customisable options is a big appeal which makes me want to get more custom bands :)
 
O I don't know, I meant like personal picture. I would totally use pictures of my dog and his various activities! But not sure if that would work

I got it this week. This is not a very good shot but it gives you an idea. It is the Combat Straps Aqua Toad with the black buckle and aqua minimal stitching. I am pretty happy with it, this is my favorite color and it has been really hard to find one in this shade of blue. The leather is a bit thicker than I am used to but I am guessing it will break in with time.

Looks nice. I have the aqua toad with yellow tribal stitching. It is thicker but I like it like that for this band. I wonder if he can make them thinner. I wore mine yesterday actually and received a nice compliment.

Thanks @Mac2me I'm reading when I can keep up. I'm mostly finding myself wiped from heavy doses of chemo. So much that Woz came down and because I was sick I couldn't even see him. I'm trying to keep up I promise, but at the moment I don't have much to contribute with since I still have lots of stuff underway. So once things arrive you can bet I'll be posting. :) I miss you all lots! Thanks for the positive vibes sent this way. They're surely appreciated. :)
