I tried to like the FW. Lasted a day. It's probably just me but the feel is unpleasant. I'd rather have just about anything else.

That’s unfortunate. From the pictures/review, I liked the Edition better than the Classic, mostly for the patina, but both pictures on Amazon show a button instead of a cutout. I’d aim for an exchange if you feel like the quality is there for you. I genuinely love how it feels on the hand.Yes I ordered from Amazon. Apparently they have some of each? Anyway not going to order again. The Classic that I got has a button, but I don't like the brown with the natural.
I liked the Edition better also, and the Classic as I mentioned did come with a button. But all of the pictures on Amazon for the Edition now show a cutout. In fact, that was the reason that I ordered the Classic to begin with. Are you in the US? I'm in the Pacific Northwest. I wonder if they have different stock for different areas. From the pictures/review, I liked the Edition better than the Classic, mostly for the patina, but both pictures on Amazon show a button instead of a cutout.
Are they the same weight? I have the classic and it’s heavier than I like.
I bought Andar “The Aspen.” Love it but my only gripe is there’s not an action button, just a cut out which is hard to get your finger into to get access to the action button. They fix that id gladly give it a 10/10. The leather is top notch. Are there any leather alternatives to FineWoven from third parties that match Apple’s last year leather case quality? Ideally in the same colours as FineWoven. Also with MagSafe of course. And ideally a matching Wallet.
I saw Mod Phone Case + Wallet from Bellroy which seems high quality but the colours aren’t quite right. Any other alternatives?
My requirements:
- the case needs to be leather
- magsafe
- identical colours to FineWoven case colours
- identical build to last year’s apple leather cases
The case needs to be available either in the UK or in the US. Help appreciated!
Send them an email. They are redesigning the case to have a button. You can either get a free return or keep the case and get 50% off the redesigned one.I bought Andar “The Aspen.” Love it but my only gripe is there’s not an action button, just a cut out which is hard to get your finger into to get access to the action button. Florida, if that makes a difference.I liked the Edition better also, and the Classic as I mentioned did come with a button. But all of the pictures on Amazon for the Edition now show a cutout. Mine arrives tomorrow. I’ll post pictures.Anyone order the Keyway full leather case?

Use discount codes DCD10, WELCOME20 or NEW20 to help subsidise the shipping costs.I bought a Mujjo leather case (in burgundy) for my 15 Pro. I love the color, but don't like the quality of the case. Buttons are too sharp and off-center, button surrounds are raised, and don't like the feel of the leather.
Looking at the Decoded case many others have recommended, is everyone US based purchasing directly from their website? They charge $17 for shipping! Anyone know of any other retailers stocking them? Amazon is showing delivery estimates for late October/early November
The Decoded does look nice. I wish they had a green color though, like Apple has done this year and previous years. My Decoded leather case in "Clay", Andar Aspen in Camel Tan and the blue Apple Finewoven which is going back to Apple today. The colour in the pics look a bit lighter than they appear in real life.

The Decoded is a great case, the light colour will probably pick up a lot of marks and scuffs but I hope it'll still look good after a few months use. Worst case I get another one in a darker colour. The buttons feels great, clicky like the ones on the Apple leather cases, and it actually has an action button. It has a great smell of leather too, which I didn't get from the Decoded leather case I had for my iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The Apple Finewoven case feels cheap and I don't like it except for the fit which is good as always with Apple cases.
Love the colour on the Aspen and it feels great in the hand, the buttons are also clicky. As I´ve written in previous posts on here the Andar is a let down because of the cut out instead of action button and with the expensive shipping costs to and from Norway I won't be returning it. I don't think I´ll buy a new one either if they fix it, even with half off the new case as I feel a bit cheated in getting an unfinished product. If only they didn't pull a fast one and rush it without a proper action button it would be my daily case for sure.

That was my favorite combination too. I agree on the branding too. Prefer not to even have any branding on the case unless it is Apple.Yeah, green would be nice. My favourite iPhone colour was the 11 Pro Max in Midnight green with a Forest green leather case.
I also wish Decoded dropped the branding on the back and camera ring, and have it on the side of the case like the Andar where it's much less noticeable.
Anyone used a Bellroy leather case? These look close also but have a button cutout.
I also see they are mostly leather, looks like a rubber top bumper.

I’m tempted to try a Decoded, but I really detest paying a lot for shipping and then having to pay a lot to return. Just always ends up being a major PIA for me.
I get that, I'm dealing with that same annoyance of expensive shipping with the Andar case and not really having the option of returning it because of the cost.
The Decoded has made me happy at finding a proper leather case with an action button.
How’s the magnet strength of the Decoded?
