I just looked on their site it is definitely metal. Unfortunately this is why I returned the Andar as it will get scratched up and chip.
Not sure how this case will work, but I've had my Decoded case for 2 years with the metal camera ring and it still looks brand new. I've scraped it all over countertops, desks etc.

I’ve just received my black Lonli Edition case (with action button!)... Left side buttons are all stuck on wonky - action button and volume down feel OK, volume up feels great. Lock button doesn’t press down at all unfortunately so sending straight back.
Sent the one I got without action button back. I submitted a review to Amazon, and I just got an email from Lonli offering me full refund. But since Amazon already refunded it I ignored the email. Looks like none are available now. It's too bad because that looks like it could be a good case. But I guess you get what you pay for.

So far I'm happy with the green Alto case I got yesterday.

I just received the aspen case by ANDAR.

It is the perfect leather replacement case for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Always used apple leather case but that finewoven case is a terrible replacement.

Only people who will praise it are people who believe all apple decisions and choices are perfect.

More importantly it does not have branding on the back of case, but on one of the sides. Nice detail

Yes the Andar is top notch, but it has a cutout for the action button. It's curious as to why it's like this on several cases. It's almost as if there's some confusion about the new button, as the previous switch required the cutout. But this make little sense.

Who knows. Maybe someone can explain the reasoning. If the reasoning was something like preventing accidentals? No. Just probably an oversight as it's so new, and will be changed to a button.

Looking on the ander website. Their leather case is made of vegan leather. So not cow leather.
  • Premium Full Grain Oil Waxed Leather
  • The Aspen in Blanc is made from cactus leather (vegan)
Maybe someone can explain which is correct

Andar Aspen is full grain cow leather in all colors except Blanc.

Mis-planning. The rumours and design leaks with action button was all over the place. They should’ve anticipated it, but it’s a gamble.

Betting on people wanting to poke their finger nails through the cutout was not a great choice.

I used Andar on my 14PM, and the leather was fantastic. If they fix this, I might get another. I heard another manufacturer is going to offer a swap after they fix. Now that’s respectable service.

Yes, no action button, no deal.

I have Lonli in the mail, and if there's no button it goes back.

Btw, I also have a $9 case from a tip in the forum, that is really nice. $9, and as good as Apple's silicon one.

I like my Mujjo case. The Monaco Blue is close enough to the Titanium Blue color. The fit is acceptable. It's a tiny bit on the looser in terms of fit. Vs how the previous Apple LEather cases fit. But so far it hasn't been an issue. The case is staying put.

The Andar Aspen is a very nice case. I’m trying with the cutout and after two days, can’t say I’m missing the action button and easier to activate than I would have thought. Sort of torn to return or keep, will keep it on phone for a bit before deciding

I love the Andar....I'm grateful apple stoped making their crappy leather cases as this is a much high quality case.

I will likely order another with the button, since they are offering them at half off and free shipping if you bought the cutout version. However, I don't have much need for the action button. To be honest, having 3 buttons in a row without much distinction between them makes it hard to guess which one you are pressing without looking. I have it set as a mute switch and the control center of the 15 pro/max have a button for the same thing anyway. I tired it with the camera, but honestly once you open the camera with the Lock Screen button, the volume buttons work the shutter anyway. Unless you are using it for accessibility or a shortcut that does something unique, it's not a feature I really value.

Are you saying that the cases shipping now all have the button? Or so you need to request it, which I don't see the option on their site?

Just received my Decode leather case from Rotterdam to Tucson, AZ in 4 days.

The iPhone 15 PM weighs in (on my scale) at 7.8 oz.

The Decode case weighs in at 1.3 oz. - not bad at all. There are "real" button extenders for all the iPhone buttons. Shipping was $17 and the case was $55 but if you search for a "discount code" it will be cheaper overall ( for me - 20% off the case = $61 shipped FedEx International Priority). Best of all the mag safe works now. I was one of the ones who had the first iteration of the Mujjo Shield case that was recalled and refunded. No need for me to return the case. Interestingly enough that case was heavy, it weighs in at 2.5 oz. I actually am glad I am not using it since it was significantly heavier.

The old iPhone Apple leather case (RIP) weighed in at 1.1 oz.

Here is the Decode case, fit is excellent and the buttons are perfect, no binding or hard to press issues.

Right! I returned my Andar case and told them I’d be happy buy the new one once available and any discount for trouble as I paid a restocking fee. They told me I would have to keep the case to get a 50% refund. Not a great first experience considering what Caudabe did.
