Hopefully the 2nd batch from Lonli is better. Got a message from them on IG that said they would be back in stock in 2-3 weeks.
Not sure how this case will work, but I've had my Decoded case for 2 years with the metal camera ring and it still looks brand new. I've scraped it all over countertops, desks etc.I just looked on their site it is definitely metal. Unfortunately this is why I returned the Andar as it will get scratched up and chip.
Sent the one I got without action button back. I submitted a review to Amazon, and I just got an email from Lonli offering me full refund. But since Amazon already refunded it I ignored the email. Looks like none are available now. It's too bad because that looks like it could be a good case. But I guess you get what you pay for.I’ve just received my black Lonli Edition case (with action button!)... Left side buttons are all stuck on wonky - action button and volume down feel OK, volume up feels great. Lock button doesn’t press down at all unfortunately so sending straight back.
Andar Aspen is full grain cow leather in all colors except Blanc.Looking on the ander website. Their leather case is made of vegan leather. So not cow leather.
Maybe someone can explain which is correct
- Premium Full Grain Oil Waxed Leather
- The Aspen in Blanc is made from cactus leather (vegan)
Yes the Andar is top notch, but it has a cutout for the action button. It's curious as to why it's like this on several cases. It's almost as if there's some confusion about the new button, as the previous switch required the cutout. But this make little sense.
Who knows. Maybe someone can explain the reasoning. If the reasoning was something like preventing accidentals? No. Just probably an oversight as it's so new, and will be changed to a button.
I bought this case too. It’s very nice but the MagSafe connection is weak and always falls off the phone.I got the Nomad Modern Leather case for IP 15 ProMax. $50. And it is Climate Neutral certified. Box says Proudly Carbon Neutral since 2020
Not very good. It’s why I stopped using it.how's the magsafe strength?
Weird mine doesn’t haves cut out. Ordered the same caseOrdered the Lonli Edition in black. I admit that the leather is a lot nicer than on the Classic. Smells like leather, even. But it has a cut-out instead of a button, so it's going back. Really disappointed.

I love the Andar....I'm grateful apple stoped making their crappy leather cases as this is a much high quality case. The Andar Aspen is a very nice case. I’m trying with the cutout and after two days, can’t say I’m missing the action button and easier to activate than I would have thought. Sort of torn to return or keep, will keep it on phone for a bit before deciding
I will likely order another with the button, since they are offering them at half off and free shipping if you bought the cutout version.
Their next batch will have them. Are you saying that the cases shipping now all have the button? Or so you need to request it, which I don't see the option on their site?
Their next batch will have them.
Email them and ask.Thanks
That's a 'little' vague. I don't want to order unless I'm sure the next batch is my batch. They may need to clear stock. Some people don't seem to mind.
Right! I returned my Andar case and told them I’d be happy buy the new one once available and any discount for trouble as I paid a restocking fee. They told me I would have to keep the case to get a 50% refund. Not a great first experience considering what Caudabe did.Mis-planning. The rumours and design leaks with action button was all over the place. They should’ve anticipated it, but it’s a gamble.
Betting on people wanting to poke their finger nails through the cutout was not a great choice.
I used Andar on my 14PM, and the leather was fantastic. If they fix this, I might get another. I heard another manufacturer is going to offer a swap after they fix. Now that’s respectable service.
