First closed bottom with a non-metal camera ring too. Although the metal ring probably protects it more, the sound it makes when dropped is just 😬
It's actually one of the reasons I stopped using my leather case. That and it does poorly around water even with the balming cream. I will go back to it eventually when I'm bored but in the meantime, I've ordered a Caudabe Sheath and giving it a try. Nobody online can give a proper analogy on how it feels aside from "grippy" and "textured" so I'm going to have to try it myself.
My RL open bottom came in today and I gotta say I think I like the Andar more. Checks off more of the boxes for me.
RL leather feels nice, good color. Fit feels worse, buttons feels worse. No preference between open or closed bottom so that’s equal. Circular Magnets feel the same but can’t tell if the RL has the alignment magnet.

Now you have me debating Ocean vs Slate for my NaTi.. I’m so indecisive 🙄
Can’t go wrong with either but I think the slate might work better with that natty.

I might be being very nit picky here but my new Slate case seems to have one spot that is stained, presumably from the dying process. Am I overthinking this? Tell me I’m overthinking this.
It is indeed an interesting texture. Best I could describe it is a miniaturized popcorn concrete wall. See if you'll agree when yours arrived

Texture wise, it feels kind of like a band-aid laid on top of TPU.
