I do like the look of that camel tan. At this point, I’ve kind of accepted that I’m not going to find a leather case that I liked as much as the Apple leather case ☹️

Looks like my fake leather case from AliExpress will arrive in the next 48 hours. Under 5 days from Mainland China is a huge improvement from my experience with AliExpress a few years ago, every package now seems to be tracked and has fast shipping.
It is when you have other case companies in the US offering free shipping to the UK over a certain spend.Yep, that is not expensive for postage from the US
If I buy two cases from Andar in one order the delivery goes up to $45. Sorry, but that’s robbery.
If you pay the $45 dollars shipping there’s no VAT and import charges to pay upon delivery. The ones that offer free shipping you’ll likely see a shipping invoice with import charges on a week or two after delivery.
Or you can do two separate orders at $16 each shipping.
Forgot about the no import taxes etc to pay upon delivery.
Even at $45 it’ll be a default amount because of the invoice value that needs to be declared for customs in a single to take care of said taxes etc. often, it’s because of the UK not being part of the EU anymore that shipping costs have heightened.
It’s not because of Andar making more money or robbing people.
I had it and returned it, the case itself is great if you don't mind the TPU sides but why they made the bottom lip so large is beyond me. Ruins the aesthetics and makes it taller than it needs to be all just to make it more lanyard compatable when lets be honest, hardly anyone uses them anyway!
They didnt allow me to replace for warranty when it doesn’t feels like leather at all! So powdery/ suede feeling. Turned black less than a week. Bad service!
If it were Apple, Mujjo or such like selling those Slate cases, they would be getting absolutely hammered on here for how quickly they wear/patina/change colour.
Being given a free ride because it's Bullstrap!
The out of the box colour should last months and age slowly.
Just keep on at them, say the quality is very poor and you are not accepting the product, or just break it and claim.
Really hard to capture accurate coloring on my 4-5 month old Bullstrap Dune patina, but here’s the best I could do. Bonus pics are a brand new Bullstrap Sienna.
Not exactly thrilled with the color currently. I’m hoping it eventually will look like the patina on their marketing photos. I’ve decided to get it a full year on the Dune case before switching to the Sierra, but I’m impatient.

Curious why we haven’t seen too many BARE cases. Their website shows many nice colors options such as saddle brown, golden brown and cinnamon. I’d be curious to see if their saddle brown patinas anywhere close to apples leather case since they referenced it in their add
It does Patina like the old apple leather (pre iPhone 12). I got the lighter color one (tortora?) and it's great, much lighter and less bulky than every other leather case on the market.
I dont like the metal camera ring though.
