Only pro about this is the case will be thinner then the andar which to me is noticeably thicker than the Ryan london in hand.

I’ve had the Ryan London closed bottom and currently have the Andar and in my experience the thickness between the two is barely noticeable. It’s not as if the Andar is super thick by any means. I’d rather have a case with the dimensions of the Andar than a gap near the charging port but that’s just me, YMMV.

The problem I have with specs on cases is (for me) they can be imperceptible with usage.

Do the bottom cutouts look uniform on your cases? A few folks have said the bottom cutout is misaligned with the speaker grills and charger port.

To be honest I have so many cases for 15 PM now that I don't try them right away when they arrive.. I'll let you know. FYI the “older” LC Tan I’m using right now is OK with precise and centered holes.

Received my tan LC case, and the same as my black version all the buttons are good, charging port is even and the speaker holes all line up as they should. It’s now sat absorbing a wipe over of liquid honey conditioner

No, they’re not worth that. Shipped to the UK they’re £33 ($42).

Hi. I have some of the cases mentioned for my 15P and here are my thoughts and opinions on them. I also list them in ascending order of personal preference. YMMV.

Mujjo Dark Tan Closed Bottom (CB)
I had high hopes for this and bought it without hesitation after having a Mujjo for my XR. Plastic look and feeling leather, with an enormous camera frame and buttons that stick out way too much. Huge disappointment.

Ryan London Dark Brown CB
Got the open bottom (OB) when it came out, so knowing the quality of Ryan London I preordered the CB case. Didn’t like the black camera frame of the saddle brown so bought the dark brown, to start with. Colour looks more purple than brown and put me off it. A lot of conditioning did make it less purple but still not what I wanted. Leather is not as nice as the RL-OB in texture and feel. Still, a quality case though.

Because of above, decided to buy the saddle brown as well. I thought a different colour might use different leather and it should be like the RL-OB saddle brown right? Sadly, nothing like it. Dry and hard with no texture and the colour is also different to the OB saddle brown. Not what I expected at all.

YMW Nappa Leather Grey CB
This is a good case. Grippy supple feel. Nice shade of grey with matching camera frame and buttons. Buttons and holes are aligned and generally well built.

YMW Horween Latigo Cognac OB
If not for the RL-OB this would be my favourite case. Top quality leather and I’ve no reason to doubt it’s not Horween. Fit and finish is identical to the RL-OB. In fact apart from the button colour and leather they are the same in every other way. Only thing which doesn’t make it my second favourite is the button colour. Silver doesn’t really match the leather for me.

YMW USA-SBF Amber Brown CB
Again another well made case. This was grippy right out of the box. They say it’s oil tanned and that might explain why it’s so grippy and supple. Lovely smell and feel. A great companion to:

My favourite case. The open bottom doesn’t concern me. I had a Mujjo OB for 5 years on my XR and the iPhone 6 Apple leather case on my 6S before that. The RL-OB saddle brown has amazing leather texture and a deep rich colour. Gets even better with use and conditioning. Top notch build quality to round off a perfect case for me.

I like my Ryan London OB in Saddle. Some have said here that the OB is uncomfortable on the pinky. I don’t find that true most likely because I have a 15P, the PM is heavier so it’s more weight on the pinky shelf.

given that my RL is CB (not OB), in direct comparison with LC the leather appears slightly better to the touch, but it is really a small thing and the purchase costs should be considered.

The LC looks better here IMO

Agreed, the LC looks great with the leather camera bump that is just the right size. I also like the way the LC leather looks.

maybe this brand is not that well known in the USA. received from Germany. Quality nubuck leather, well made. takes a lot of patina. the homogeneous color is due to the cleaning carried out with Timberland's RenewBuck. a few days are enough for the patina to be redone.
