99% chance that neither of them will fit perfectly (like the genuine apple one would) - every single listing for them i've seen in China since they appeared, shows the exact same message - don't buy if you're OCD, they won't fit flush at the ends.
I know neither will be perfect. You get what you pay for, as they say. The difference between 33mm and 34mm although small, could make it stand out more. I guess sometimes you have to take a chance or pay full Apple price if you want perfection. The big thing is, if I don't like it, it is easier to return to US seller then sending it back to China. I just wish the Utica guy's price was at 50 or below like the others, so I didn't feel I was being overcharged.

if you've ordered and received or not received, add your sellers to the link in my signature, so we can crowdsource a huge list of the good and bad sellers?!

My red leather loop was delivered some time this week. Unfortunately/fortunately, I was cruising in Alaska so I haven't seen it yet. I'm looking forward to arriving home tonight just for that! Hehe!

Someone needs to clarify about those different LL. They seem to be priced from 40 to 60$ and so far we don't know whether they are the same or not and if the cheaper ones have a strong magnet (most important thing to me).

If you guys can post like the measurements, close shot of the adapters. It would help the buyers to find the cheapest & best one. Also I have a preference for US sellers..

I just received for my 42mm Stainless Steel Apple Watch a 3rd Party light Blue Leather Loop from the guy from Utica, NY. Here is my little review of the band and plus I am including pictures. I did a side by side comparison with the 3rd Party light blue LL and the Oem medium Black LL. I wear my watch on my right hand. I have around a 180mm wide wrist.

There are good things about this band and also some that are not so great, but I could most likely live with it.

1. The 3rd part blue leather loops color looks just like Apple OEM version.

2. I have an OEM Black Leather Loop Medium, so the size that I received is close to the Medium size, but the 3rd party is a little longer. The 3rd party band also seems a little lighter than the oem. Must be the weight of the magnets. I also noticed that the end of the 3rd Party LL long band that fits through the hole is thinner than the OEM version. That is why it is a little harder to feed the loop through with the 3rd Party, at least for me. The OEM is a thicker at the end.

The long band for both OEM and 3rd Party Black Medium LL that I own is the same length and width. The only problem is the width of the band inside the connector. The band inside the connector for the 3rd Party LL is a little short on both side. The adapter is very secure and there is no movement at all. The 3rd Party LL smaller band is longer in length than the OEM medium band. The adapter slides in easy and is very secure. The band width for inside the adapter is a little bit short, but you really can't notice it at all.

3. The strength of the magnet is very good. To be safe, I put the band on over my bed and once I had it on, I shook my hand very hard in every direction and the band didn't move at all. The magnets held up. I still haven't tried it in heat yet (It is 100 degrees here in North Carolina today), but I will later. I did compare the OEM magnets to the 3rd Party magnets, and the OEM is a little stronger, but I think the 3rd party should be fine.

4. Quality. There was some little tiny pieces of blue leather coming off on the side, but it was just excess. Once removed with my finger nail there was no rips or missing leather. The side and the top and bottom are fine. Nothing missing. The feel of the leather on the band is very similar to the OEM and the texture feels the same.

5. Only time will tell how this will hold up. Overall it is a decent copy. The only thing I don't like is the length of the band inside the adapter being short. I even wrote the seller on Ebay before I bought to ask about this specifically. She said it was the exact dimension as the the original one. I wonder if I should send her a picture of it being short inside the adapter or not. See if there is anything they could do.

Any questions for me, don't hesitate to ask.

Here is who I bought them from. Of course they just dropped the price too. They ship from USA.

My question is: is it real leather? Like the same as Apple's? I ordered a red one from eBay last night.

All I can say is it feels the same as the oem version. I can't smell leather on it, but I couldn't smell leather with the oem version either. If I get a rash, I will know. My skin only does well with leather bands. I will have a bad reaction and my skin will break out with rubber, metal or plastic bands, so I will know and let you know. I do notice the band is shedding a little blue specks yet it seems extra not attached to band. It is from the sides. The sides aren't as well finished as oem.

I agree with the skin thing. I'm not sure my 'leather loop' is actually leather. I normally react to plastic straps, I did with the he official sports band. So far this leather loop from eBay has not caused any skin issues.

Those who have the 3rd party loop. It the with of the adapter a perfect fit or are all of them a little short like my pictures show. I measured the long band adapter length and it was 33mm. I should of been 34mm if it was a match. I measures the small band adapter length and in was 33 1/2 mm, almost perfect. I want to know if everyone is getting the same or are some getting it perfect fit.

Should I write the Seller and let them know. Maybe I could get a discount. She told me before I bought it that it was the exact size as the oem, especially the adapter area was the same I even mentioned to her that I had an OEM and that the adapter area of the band measured 34mm. Their site said it was 33mm and everyone else wrote 34mm. I think the Utica people actually measured the non oem band and everyone else used the true oem sizes and wrote them down. But who knows? What should I do?
