It's not that hard to set the standards for 2017 flagships if one is the first 2017 flagship to be life....
Reading the positives and negatives I have to say nothing special there, just another phone from LG.
For me what's special is the form factor. Having a narrower phone, with a much larger screen in a smaller package is flagship worthy, especially if they didn't have to use gimmicks like a curved screen to achieve it. IMO a truly boring "flagship" is something like the HTC10, which ticks off all the marks but fails to be any better than a $100 Moto G IMO because of the awful form factor.
But of course LG goes and ruins it with their locked bootloader and less than stellar software.
Edit: Wait, it's not an OLED screen?!?! Bleh, well that ruined the interest I had in it. I'm curious how they do an always on screen and not kill the battery.
