Aperture (3.5.1) breaks every photo on-screen.
Doesn't give me much confidence for the rest of Yosemite if Apple doesn't even have their own apps working right even though it is early beta. Thing is to me, any improvement should be built on top of stuff that already works in OSX. Make it even more stable and then do whatever visual tweaks. I will never get why they insist to develop the OS this way.

It's a Developers preview.

I am amazed it works this well at this point.

It's not meant for general consumer use.

Therefor, I expect things not to work and don't get discouraged about it. Apple will have everything working pretty much by the time they make the beta available to the public.

Yip, I couldn't load the store, nor search for anything store related. Even web links for apps wouldn't redirect correctly. I re-installed iTunes and that fixed it, but then I had the issue with no sound - fixed by removing the instant on plugin.

Thanks! I'll try that!

ExpressVPN not working!

Heavy ExpressVPN user,
the app that works on Marvericks can not even open on 10.10
tried manually setup VPN connection in network preference, still no luck.

Safari and Mail also work funky and slow, I installed 10.10 right on from the
10.9, a straight up upgrade from the original OS, maybe that the reason for
all the bugs. will try a clean reinstall later.

P.S.
Always install a beta OS on spare computers.

If an OSX build in that "stable" way, it should call 10.9.x, but not 10.10.

Don't know if it was mentioned here but Tunnelblick doesn't seem to work either. It seems to be connecting, getting configuration and then dies.

Boom volume booster

Anyone running Boom volume booster by Global Delight Technologies under 10.10?

I don't want to install anything system related if it has problems. Thanks.

I uninstalled that long ago when Boom started invading privacy insidiously. Get rid of it.

Yup, current ver 1.9.1, no issues. Using LittleSnitch (nightly build) to monitor a few system processes that ran the CPU up on my '13 nMac Pro, hasn't reported any questionable "calls" from "Boom" so I don't know what the other poster may have been suggesting unless they can be more specific (now I'm curious). :)
