Ahhhhhhhh. Planning ahead!!! Love it. I use to have to wait until after work to go get a computer or have time to play but....now I have retired so every day is the weekend now:)

After hearing the Mono speaker announcement I realized that I have never used the internal speakers on my laptop before. It is always headphones. It is better to have the Mono than no speakers at all though. I bet that came up when they were deciding what was needed and what was being dropped :)

Mondays are my day off. So if all goes well it will be just me, my puppy and my MBA all day long.:D

I don't know. I placed my order on the 19th, a few days after the keynote. And my ship date is Feb 12!

I certainly hope to be able to buy it from one of the retail stores before Feb 12.

I hope!

Or maybe mine will ship earlier than the estimate.
 
ughhhhh I wanted a Monday delivery!

fair enough. anecdotal reports indicate, however, that some stores were only given demo units and less than a handful of salable units. most that were able to get an mba in store were successful in getting the store to sell them a unit, or an employee unaware to refrain from selling mba's until officially instructed to do so. additionally, white bags were used to conceal the transaction. yes, i'm aware a store had some fanfare when it sold its first mba, but that has not been the norm.

a sale is a sale, but as of tonight, the mba is generally unavailable.
 
nevermind. did a little digging for that post where he defied all the naysayers about stores not having any units before pre-orders. how he was able to get one on thursday in store is beyond me. whatever.

I hope so. I was just under the impression that it should've left Indy by now or that it has to be sent to Memphis before it is sent to me...is that not the case? I never ordered anything international from FedEx before so that's why I'm so clueless.

Since Indy is the International Release there should be no need for another stop before Philly. Just my thought.

I have the same exact tracking as you both as well.

How amazing is this thing? 3lbs, full size screen and keyboard, capable of time travel, the list goes on...
