ever since this thread introduced me to flightaware, it's changed the way i track package status
mine's out of IND as well. hopefully it's on the ONT flight, which went wheels up at 4:52PM local.

oh, sorry. yeah, i live in socal. i'm used to using 3-letter airport (IATA) codes instead of writing out "indianapolis" or "toronto," which incidentally is "YYZ."
in your case (vancouver, right?) the only flight for today from MEM-YVR left at 4AM local.

finally placed my order... probably way too late
this is my first post but i've been following this thread and the store status thread. after spending the past two days driving from apple store to apple store (stockton, chestnut, corte madera) (and getting one parking ticket because of it) i've decided that it will just make me crazy to keep searching in stores so i bit the bullet and placed an online order. it gives me a ship date of feb 26 but i'm hoping it will be alot sooner. (really hoping...)
if it comes to a local store before my package ships i will most likely cancel the order and get it in store but im hoping i wont have to do that.
just thought i'd add a post.

I hit the newest NYC Apple store at 14th St this afternoon to pick up an Agent18 case for my iPhone and got to finally see the Air in person. They had 12 of them out on display, and they are truly amazing to behold up close! Everyone's first reaction is to pick it up to see just how light it is. I can only hope that someday, the MBP will migrate to this form factor!
For now, i'll continue to use my 2.16 Core Duo MBP and see what the imminent update has to offer, then hand this one down to my girlfriend.
I can't complain too much, though, as I get to look forward to the delivery of a new dual core 3.0GHz Mac Pro around February 18th

Welcome to the community! In my experiences, Ive found that Apple almost always ships well before their deadline. For me, only on 2 occasions (Aluminum wireless keyboard and Bluetooth headset) did Apple ship on the exact deadline date. Everyone on this board (I think) has had their MBA ship before the shipping deadline.

I had a similar problem, but with gift cards. It will likely set you back about 2 days. Not too bad.
