List of Members Waiting for their Macbook Air to Ship and Arrive and Photos!

I ordered de 1.8/64SDD. So I went online to check my status and it said in RED: Atention Required... So it said that my credit card didnt authorise my transaction. I had to call chevy chase and ask them to remove their filthy $2000 transaction limit.

So now only the superdrive shipped because it was the only thing that went through and my USB ethernet and MBA still have not shipped...

The transaction was finally autorised 5 mins after I got the warning cus I called chevy chase yesterday and told them to allow it... so apple in theory has a liability with me, my questions is...

When will it get shipped? Does anyone know if they ship from China during weekends? (ie: Do the planes fly during the weekend?)

Finally, after that stupid screwup from Apple. I guess it will ship by Monday, so I imagine I should get it by Thursday. As long as it comes by the end of next week I will be happy (although I would have had it Monday if Apple didn't screw up the gift card).
 
Everyone keeps mentioning the weather as being the cause for the delay but from my understanding Shanghai isn't even close to where the weather problems are.

Looking at weather forecasts/history for the area show no snow whatsoever.

I think the shipment exception everyone is seeing in tracking info is just normal. Apple seems to be getting the shipment to the Fedex facility too late to go out that day, hence the exception.

My shipping also said delivery for Monday, it was delivered Friday AM. From the rest of the posts it seems Fedex is running one business day ahead of schedule.

The exception that most were wondering about, like me, was the one that appeared from Shanghai after the shipment was in Anchorage. A computer glitch. All seems fine now. Still waiting for Indy to wake up thought.:)

This was posted about 15 hours ago on Google news:

Airports in large cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanchang and Changsha, which had reopened, were forced into a new round of flight cancellations and delays Saturday as they de-iced planes, state Xinhua news agency said.
 
i don't think fedex would lie about china having a snowstorm lol
espcially since we can easily check what the weather is there


as for updates
mine is still "in transit to Memphis" for some reason no updates since 5:13am

But is this the cause for the exception everyone has seen? It says package received after cutoff. CSR said this was simply because the Fedex facility received the package too late in the day to get it out that day.

Short of that exception my package left on time and arrived to me a business day before it was scheduled (Friday/Monday).
 
My mba arrived "at dest sort facility" Jacksonville, FL this morning at 6:14 AM.

Anyone know if this means it goes straight from there to my house on Monday? Or does it make another stop?

the cutoff thing is something different
someone here said it's casue apple only has a certain amount of space in the fedex planes so it means yours is ready to be put in the plane but the plane is full basically so ull be on the next flight

Mine says tuesday too, I checked flightaware.com, and it looks like it is going to Manchester,NH. For me it takes one more flight to Presque Isle, ME, unless they route it different. So things do look good for a monday delivery.

It is really just a guess. If you go to flightware.com, then look up fedex, then look at all the departures from indy around the time that yours says departed, then look at the destination city, to make sure that it is the right direction to you house, and that might be the plane. I know that usually fed-ex routes my packages through manchester or portland, or both.

I ordered from Apple on the 29th (base model) and it ships by 2/20...what's your ship date?

Got my Waterfield Designs sleeve today-excellent as always-you should check them out!
