This method worked for me. I just did it right now. Too bad the expected ship date is March 28
Mine either. But I thought about the computer for a few days before ordering.
What day is yours supposed to ship by?
Ships Feb. 6th according to Apple. I tried upgrading to overnight shipping today, but because it's a CTO I couldn't get any better than 2 day.
That's the same one I ordered. I think all of the standard configs will start changing status tonight.
(I ordered an hour after the keynote)
Got my order confirmation today.
I visited my Apple store in Durham, NC yesterday (1-27-08), where I was told they would not have any MBA's to even look at for another 3 weeks. I came home, and pre-ordered one. MACBOOK AIR 13/1.6/2GB/80GB-USA. Got the confirmation email today, in less than 24-hours. States a ship date of 2-12-08, which is of course, the same 3 weeks as stated at the local store.

it has begun... Can you guys also say what your configuration is? I bought 1.8 with ssd.. Not yet shipped.
I believe these are all those with a shipping date of feb6th. Mine is 8th and hasn't changed yet.
Great I have a big test tomorrow and now all i can do is refresh the apple order page and look enviously on all of you who's status is changing, while mine says not yet shipped.
My delivery date still remains Feb 7th. Usually once the item ships the expected delivery date adjusts to match the tracking data.
Lets hope this isn't a false alarm like last week.
I tried to get the MBAir into my goldbox, but only got the superdrive
Maybe it's not thin enough.
