Prior to the MBA release when it was all rumors I did the online chat through the apple store and tried to get info but the first guy wasn't helpful at all. So after ending that chat I got the brillant idea to just try and chat with a different agent so opened another chat window about 3 minutes after closing the first one. I got "welcome back, I saw you were just chatting with Joe" so yeah they knew I was just on their system with a different agent, They are sneaky down there at Apple

I'm just worried that if i don't cancel it today it will ship tomorrow and will be too late to cancel and it will show up in the stores on Friday and my house saturday or monday.

So just not sign for it when it ships. Even if you did sign for it, you could mail it back. There isn't a fee as long as you don't open it.

Some good/bad news for me:

This morning I checked and the unit had supposedly shipped with approx. arrival date of 2/1. Unfortunately, now it reads (at Fedex) a status of "Shipment Exception" - something about "package received after Fedex cutoff " at 7:25pm

FWIW, I ordered the standard 1.6/80 on 1/15 at around 1:30pm with expedited ($18) shipping.
