No, they wouldn't do it. Said it would not make any difference. I have 2-3 day. Mine missed Fed Ex cutoff. Not sure what that means or when it will actually go. Going to call my local Apple Store and see if anything is happening there. Gotta wait till 10am

However it has shipped

You better! And watch...everyone's shipping status will magically change when Apple's special FedEx department opens up....Something's fishy about this whole affair. Apparently Jobs' reality distortion field extends in to the powers behind FedEx...

Just curious what you guys think the in store stock will be like? I am in Seattle and can't get over to one of the 3 stores in the area until after 6pm. I just want a standard 1.6/80. Hoping there are still some there!:eek:

our fedex is usually here before 10am -- thats 1 hour for my MBA!

MBA may deliver today!!!

I just checked my FedEx Tracking and it arrived at the local facility this morning at 7:40am! I called FedEx and they said there "is a good chance" they will deliver it today! I hope it comes!! :)

I ordered 30 minutes after the keynote, just the standard specs 1.6ghz/80Gb and I live in Jersey City.

Ooo mine is on the vehicle too! If it delivers today I'll take back all the mean things I said about FedEx... ah, screw it, I'll be too busy playing with Air.

when i saw sorted at dulles i figured you were on the same plane as me and would have been surprised if you didnt get it too!!!

Well...my status has been updated...today at 9:50PM Shanghai time, it's officially In Transit...still in friggin CHINA!!!!

Nice! Mine is at my local facility too. Not sure if it will make it on a truck though. The bummer is if Apple didn't specify "hold at FedEx location" on the shipping documents, FedEx says they must at least attempt one delivery before they will allow the recipient to go in and proactively pick it up.

Same here.

I got upgraded to overnight shipping. Any chance we're going to see this on Friday? At this point I'm skeptical. :(

ok here is the number 8004554588 my shipment left China today not yesterday, they have 2-3 days to deliver the packages, not counting weekends, they do not Overnight ANY package, even though they say overnight, there is a slim chance i might get it tomorrow... but not holding my breath...ALSO APPLE has it so you can't pick it up in person at a Fed ex location until One delivery attempt is made... so everyone that just make me :mad:

Yup.. they actually sent it through Alexandria's sorting facility since I'm in Arlington. If you're in Herndon you could probably see the FedEx plane landing at Dulles. ;)

Mine finally says in transit. It looks like it left around 8:50 AM EST.

Almost 34 hours sitting in Shanghai. That is a bummer.

The earliest it will get to Alaska is late evening today. No chance of Friday delivery. I guess Monday is it for me.

It really pi$%$% off that I could have just gone to the Apple store tomorrow and bought the thing instead of all this.... If I had paid for the overnight shipping (they had comped me but I guess it didn't matter now), I would definitely be wanting refund for that.

I guess in the bigger scheme of things, we are healthy and alive.

Well, if I'm reading the flight information correctly, the shipment should make it to Indy at around 11 PM or so EST. So...I don't see why I can't get it tomorrow (not far from Indy)

She made sure se sad Apple has it set that way....I have picked up stuff when i see its there....

OH and in transit is now my status... hummmmmmm fishy!!!
