Still "Not yet shipped" for mine. Kind of painful when others are getting delivered.

It seems like Apple has had very limited initial supply. These things are just barely trickling out. I wonder if they have had a hard time getting them made in large quantities. I'm sure they'll catch up eventually but I wonder when. Right now, some people already have theirs while other people who ordered mere hours or minutes later have no progress whatsoever.

Maybe this is why they were so eager to upgrade shipping for free. They knew people would complain, so the free upgrade might mitigate the problems.

If I had paid for faster shipping I would be upset.

Well, mine is still on the delivery vehicle and I have to go into DC for a few hours... should be delivered when I get back, so I'll post an unboxing video then if someone else hasn't already.

for what it's worth, it's not uncommon for FedEx to deliver a day early-and they are always on time...at least in my experiences with them! Hang in there!

Still waiting for my 1.8/80 as well. Although I ordered on the 15th, my order time is the 17th thanks to my CC company. :mad:

To add insult to injury my ship date is Feb 11th, which despite what the site says is over 3 weeks farm my ship date. All well, I'm glad someone got theirs.

Man, I have to admit that I'm just kickin' myself a little right now...I ordered the 1.8/80 the second the store came up and decided that the $300.00 wasn't worth the difference and cancelled my order.
Oh well, at least I'm saving a little chunk of $ this way since I have it on order from Amazon (caught the Gold box special + no tax) and I still have an order in with Apple and I got them to knock $100.00 off...at least that's what I keep telling myself. :( :)

Congrats to everyone who's had theirs shipped and who are getting their today-looking forward to some pics this afternoon! :D

fedex box was about twice as thick as the black mba box. styrofoam in each corner holding it there in the middle of the box protected. the mba box is tightly shrinkwrapped and i had to stick a paperclip through the wrap where the box meets to avoid putting a scratch in my box!

Apple's email predicts "by" Feb 5th delivery.. i hope sooner thought
to thoese that got delivered today... what did your apple email say??

SSD version prepared for shipment

Just reloaded my order status for the 100th time today, and it FINALLY says "prepared to ship"! I ordered the 1.8/64SSD version at 10:50am right after the keynote. It seems like this is the day for the SSD early adopters, as I think I read that at least 2 others with SSDs are prepared (or shipped)!

Mine was after the cutoff too... it says "in transit" now too. I have two day shipping, but apple claims by "Feb 5th" too... I really hope sooner... Im thinking Monday is probably right though. Damn weekend!

It's so exciting to hear about people finally getting the first major wave of shipments!

I'm still waiting for mine to ship, :( (Canada, 1.8/SSD, ordered Jan. 15, 1:26PM)

Mine shipped yesterday with standard delivery...missed the cutoff and is now in transit with estimated delivery of the 4th..I don't think i'll have it by tomorrow because I don't have overnight shipping..what do you guys think?

10.5.1 installed. i registered but havent played (wireless is locked down here) i work for a company that bases its existence on the internet so its strict on the wifi

i was just checking out the fedex flights looks like your on fedex flight 90
set to arrive around 1:50pm today

so if all that goes smoothly i don't see why you won't get it tomorow
or maybe sat if they deliver on sat lol
