just got prepared for shipment. 1.8/80gig with iWork pre installed - Ordered 11:59 on the 15th
I feel your pain brother. My 1.8/ssd ordered 1.15 @ 8:12pm PST is still 'not yet shippted' too.
Just visited the Apple Store in Atlanta. They had three units on display, but none to sell. The employees did not know when they will get stock. Oh well for holding out and getting one sooner at the retail store.
Yeah they arrived yesterday at Lenox. No word on any that would be put out for sale.

Wow, new email from apple at 9am today, it says that my 1.8 ssd shipped today 2/1 instead of previously indicated 2/6!!
I put my order in Jan 15 around a quarter to noon PST.
Apple I love you. And Intel! And FedEx! And let's not forget mother nature, thanks for the ice storm this morning, get that trick outta your system now...
Think Apple shipped just to get past my hammering on order status
Now it's due here Wednesday Feb 6, originally due Monday the 11th. I didn't like the idea of it maybe sitting around in depot over the Feb 9-10 weekend. Midweek delivery by next week will be so much better!
I got Waterfield stuff for sleeve and bag. It's here for two days already. There's an accessory thread I posted to about that. I love Waterfield b/c they cn spl QUALITY.

it looks like "left origin" doesn't mean it left china yet guys!
prob just means that it left apple factory
im on "in transit" now which is a day later...
whats also interesting is my estimated for apple is feb 5th and now in fedex site it says feb 6th i hope this is padded
oh and the superdrive looks like it's coming from the US
wierd.. i guess they shipped a huge amount of them to the US already

It certainly would be nice with all the "I've got mine's!" for some kind soul to post pictures and/or a detailed or even general review of the Air. There have been quite a few delivered since yesterday with very little feedback thrown to those relegated to vicarious experiences... Please, for cybergypsy's sake?

yea i agree i would like to hear more reviews and pics also
but then again maybe there just that nice and good that ppl have no complaints about them
looks like once it get shipped status
it will be in china for another day
then fly out and status will change from left origin update to in transit update
then to ak for x amount of time depending on alot of stuff
but once it leaves there it seem ppl get them the morning after
What an interesting ordering experience! Well my package arrived late, and literally missed being placed on the delivery vehicle by minutes. Needless to say, a delivery exception was created, and I called FedEx. After talking to a few of the most courteous and helpful people ever, I got a phone call back from Fedex corporate saying that they are putting my package on another truck for me, and are driving it over now. I was thrilled!!! Kudos to FedEx for doing the right thing and making sure everything works out!
