This means: MBA Ordered Jan 15 the hour the store came up after the key note. Prepared for shipment last Saturday. Since then sitting more then four days at the airport for being first shipped to the Netherlands instead of the my destination address, and nothing can be changed anymore.

If you had cancelled your ethernet adapter.. your MBA would STILL have gone to the Netherlands. THEY ALL go to the Netherlands and do not fly direct to your country from China.

So chances are nothing would have changed.

Are you really sure that all our orders are going over the Netherlands? All right I can see that you guys with Fast Ship (EMEA) orders have tracking entries which shows Arnhem too. This might be a change in Apples practice, see:

If I would have cancelled and separately ordered the silly adaptor, I might have the MBA already in my hands, or receive it before this weekend.
It will be my first mac, but what they are doing here is not really powerful...

Ahh, the legendary "my first mac" -effect. Don't worry, it seems to only belong to the whole "first mac" -process to get a machine just announced and delivered slooowlyyyy. Happened to me twice, my iMac took ages to arrive (and then it was DOA in four hours so...) and my first Mac laptop was the (then just announced) Macbook and I ordered it with wireless keyboard. They took "ages" to merge in NL, total being about two-three weeks from ordering.

Relax, you'll get yours in time. And remember: no extra stuff next time around After all it's just a computer.
Easy for me to say, didn't order from Apple Store so I don't have any tracking to stress about...

Well, my Superdrive has now shipped, but the MBA is still on "Prepared for shipment".

But that shouldn't matter, because I'm going on vacation to Egypt on Sunday and will be returning the Sunday after. Some time in between my MBA and Superdrive will arrive, while I'll be lying in the sun and be thinking about returning a few days earlier

Arrives at 9.00am this morning.

Installed OSX over network, all seems fine. Solid machine, trackpad button feels soft and a bit wobbly but guessing its due to its size

I just don't get it.

Please note that all events might not appear chronologically or instantly to the tracking website. Sometimes the middle phases just pop up later on and in wrong order.

In addition it might have something to do with the problems it encountered previously. Don't worry, at least it's alive

Hello,

My MBA was shipped the 4th of Feb via flextronic logistics (according to the order track site). Any one know how to track these packages? The Apple page doesn't say anything where the package is. The shipping method is Merge in transit (NL) and it's on it's way here to madrid.

Anyone have the same?

It's here at long last.

What can I say, although I knew it was the same footprint as the MacBook I guess I always imagined it bigger. It's just so small, so thin and so light. Being able to comfortably pick it up with one hand is incredible.

Just reinstalling Leopard on it now without all the guff.

Hope everyone else gets theres soon. It's worth the wait.

my superdrive has now arrived - it was ordered at the same time as the macbook air but since they changed my shipping to fast ship it was shipped separately. apple never gave me a tracking number that i knew how to use, but the looking up the tracking number that was on the UPS box (which was different from apple's tracking number) it was shipped from just outside birmingham, uk, and came the day after they shipped it (they shipped it yesterday). my macbook air was listed it's estimate ship day as yesterday too but it's still not even prepared for shipment. as i added an apple remote, though, it counts as a custom order

BUT: I just received a call from TNT telling me my order will arrive in time and as planned on friday I asked them about the current status and they said the order has left Pudong Airport today at 18:41 local time.

I checked the Amsterdam Airport website for today´s freight arrivals from Shanghai an found one landing at about 18:41 local time. So my MacBook Air must be on this flight and I think there is a good chance that yours is on board, too

Where did you find that flight? I could not find any cargo flights on their website, only passenger. A link would be great.
