I also have merge in transit (NL) and I can see my tracking number on the overview page but the assigned carrier is Flextronics and I can't find a working tracker for them. The tracking page over at apple is blank and say that the post will be updated shortly. So no idea where my MBA is

Just called Apple here in the states to ask about the holiday and the rep told me asked about that and there were not supposed to be any delays for the holiday. Has anyone seen a shipment go from the factory to the airport on Feb 6 or 7?

Delay in Japan

Here in japan, I was expecting to receive mine by Feb.13. But, yesterday Apple Online Store sent me a message saying that there's a delay, and I'll receive as follows:
* *2008/02/12 - 2008/02/14 shipping
* *2008/02/18 - 2008/02/20 delivery
Man, it's 1 week of delay.... very bad...
Of course I replied the email complaining (in english), but I guess they will not reply, or even read the english mail (as I tried before, without any answer).

I just called the Apple Store hotline for Germany (and I swore to myself not to do it!) and the nice guy there told me, that they have no information about any delays in China due to their holidays.

And I believed him totally, as he was very suprised when he looked into my order details and saw that I'm 'prepared for shipment' since a few days now, which normally takes only 24 hours to change to 'shipped'.

To summarize: They are really not aware of the fact that there are delays and there is no point calling them as they can't change the calendar in China anyway ...

I checked the Amsterdam Airport website for today´s freight arrivals from Shanghai an found one landing at about 18:41 local time. So my MacBook Air must be on this flight and I think there is a good chance that yours is on board, too

There are definitely delays because of the Chinese new year, mine has left the factory but has not yet reached the airport after two days and the status has not changed. I also note that nobody else's status has changed for the last couple of days so this must be because of the new year. I would not expect to see any change to this until after the weekend.

I agree that probably nothing happens before Monday in China. But it's been a bit hectic over there anyway, with all the new year traffic and snowstorms and stuff so let them enjoy it.

I just called the German TNT-ExpressHotline (01805 900 900) and the friendly call agent told me that my MacBook Air reached Arnheim (which is definitely NOT in China ) yesterday evening and already left it on it´s way to Germany this morning. So everything alright with tomorrow delivery so far. The call agent didn´t know why the online-tracking hasn´t been updated yet, but anyway

Lucky me; I, like a couple of others on this thread, made the mistake of ordering the network adapter with the air so I've no way of tracking anything until it is merged handed over to tnt... has anyone of the merge in transit guys called apple and got any update except for the book being shipped?

I called TNT, too. Here very friendly voice told that my MBA has been sent, but she can't promise it before 18th Feb! "It may come sooner, but no promises!"

So, one more week without new computer...
