Oh, boy! I have the feeling that people waiting for the magic 'merge in transit' are totally screwed!
As I learned today, it could take much longer for stuff coming from China to the merging point than if it's delivered directly - and I'm talking about 5-7 days!

Yep, same thing here, we are in the same boat...!
A call at TNT revealed the mystery about this early "Zurich Held Customs" entry: this is only refering to the papers which were send in advance by electronic transfer to TNT. The physical delivery was or will be handed out to TNT later. So the entries at Apples or TNTs the tracking page were not behind reality. In this case they were faster than reality. Our orders will most likely arrive on Thursday since Apple has chosen their slower variant as the lady at TNT told me.

I'm with you. Ordered on Jan 15th right after the keynote, and I am still waiting for my "merged in transit" order to arrive..
Never ask anyone at Apple, if ordering more than one item at once will slow down your shipment, everyone will lie at you. It definitely makes things moving so much slower.
mine arrived too today !! woohoo, last night it said the 15th this morning it said the 13th and the ups tracking info(that appeared this morning) said in transit!
10:57 today the thing arrives at my work place and really has exceeded my expectations...naturally the first thing i did was rebuild it loosing the bloatware, and i can honestly say for what i do(photo editiing,web,email,vmware) i cannot currently feel a difference between this and my MBP.

and the delivery is still at Eindhoven NL at the minute I am writing this line (TNT standard delivery, NOT express as they told me on the phone...).Only ordered standard 1.6/80 config without any additional soft or hardware, except this f***ing Ethernet adaptor which I thought would be a peanut, but apparently it wasn't
Hope at tleast that the MBA will run smooth and everything will be ok with it...!!
