She just told me its in China less than 10min ago...

so now I refreshed the TNT tracking status and it says...

14 Feb 2008 11:00 Amsterdam Consignment Received At Transit Point

How fast from China to Amsterdam in 10min wow.. :rolleyes:


Should I call again and see if it can reach me tomorrow :confused:

Ok, I called again.. and she can't promise if it will leave Amsterdam tonight, but if it left tonight then its here tomorororoorooo :p

Still waiting... I have a fear this is going to be the state of the matter for a long time now. No dice ordering from a local retailer, yet... :rolleyes: Congrats to those who have gotten their toys.

@Thomi: that looks normal, I got my MacBook and wireless keyboard in two separate boxes in 2006 and they were "merge in transit". Seemed just about as stupid as it can get.

Is there any change by somebody, who has "Merge in NL" ?

Mine was shipped on saturday and NO status changed since there. :(

cheers, thats useful. im still hopeful it can overnight tonight and be with me tomorrow (its happened before) but looking more like monday..

oh well.. ive waited almost a month already.. whats a coupla days ;)

I have had a reply from an email I sent to TNT. My tracking is exactly the same as yours although it's not the MBA I've got coming (can't afford it).

This is the reply, btw I am in the UK

This is not in the UK yet sorry, this is still in transit and this will

This has to come from Northampton road hub to Bodmin and this will be
there
tomorrow

I'm sorry for any problems caused but this is a economy service

No, but this is supposed to be this way (unfortunately!!!) ...

We won't see a delivery until Monday next week (at the earliest).

I was so sure, that it would be delivered until tomorrow. Next time I will order it without annnnnyyyy other thing.

Talking about stupid...

My MBA is supposed to arrive today, I called earlier this morning, and it's in the truck :)

However, the Ethernet adapter and the Superdrive, each in its own package, somehow got lost on the way, and I won't get them until tomorrow...

Knowing that ordering those two extras delayed my MBA almost a week, and that they were supposed to "merge", it's ironic how they are being shipped separately and later :confused:

In Apple Store: Time to ship is down to "7-10 business days"

And my order went to "Prepared for Shipment" this morning, just 48h after the order.

my macbook air has finally prepared to ship :) my ethernet adaptor and applecare also arrived today, even though they weren't estimated to arrive until the 20th.

"Well, we could lie the same lie Apple has been feeding us, which means there's no actual info about that."
